Student answer (Band 6.5)
International travel has become accessible to people all around the world, especially because of the advancement of technology such as social media. Such platforms offers multiple benefits that provide individuals with the easy access to whatever is going on in other countries without having to travel to those places. While there are a few disadvantages that raise some concerns, I personally believe that it is a positive development because of its ability to foster cultural respect and feasibility to travel to desirable destinations, which significantly outweighs those drawbacks.
Ease of International travel as well as widespread access to information related to several countries offers a few disadvantages. Social media platforms are an open source where people across the globe posts current happenings including sensitive as well as general information that anyone could effortlessly access. Subsequently, such access might pose serious danger because of its misuse by other people. Moreover, making International travel somehow becomes risky for several security reasons. For example, Visa-free policies provided by some countries might lead to harmful circumstances as criminals can enter those countries and cause serious harms.
In contrast, feasibility of knowing current trends and cultures happening arounf the world offers multiple advantages. Through social media, anyone can watch whatever is happening and enjoy others culture. Not only does such provision increases knowledge related to existing cultures, it also develops a sense of respect towards their customs and beliefs. Furthermore, easier access to International travel give individuals a chance to visit those places and enjoy other cultures. It, therefore, fosters positive relationships between countries and their people, and generate considerable revenues through frequent tourism. For instance, Skardu has become a popular travel destination for tourists around the world and resultantly bacame a successful contributor to the considerable revenue generator in the tourism sector of Paksitan.
In conclusion, although making International travel a bit more easier and different kinds of mass media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter etc. do have their disadvantages, I personally believe that such feasibilities offer a lot more than just a few concerns, therefore the advantages of these developments significantly outweighs disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear throughout: you argue that the benefits outweigh the risks, and you address both sides of the question. The discussion of cultural understanding is relevant and supported by the example of Skardu’s tourism, while the security concerns around misuse of online information and visa-free travel provide a counterpoint. This meets the task well, but the two sides are not equally developed: the disadvantages are asserted more than explained, and the link between social media access and international travel is sometimes blurred. The Skardu example illustrates tourism revenue, but could more directly show how greater exposure to other countries encourages travel. Develop these links and explain the scale or limits of the risks to make the argument more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The essay has a clear overall progression: an introduction states your view, the second paragraph presents disadvantages, the third develops advantages, and the conclusion restates your position. Connectors such as “In contrast,” “Moreover,” and “For instance” help signal relationships between ideas, and paragraphing is appropriate. To make the progression more consistently smooth, clarify the relationship between international travel and mass media, which are sometimes treated as interchangeable developments. Some linking phrases also feel formulaic, and “It, therefore” has an unclear reference. Use more precise transitions and refer explicitly to the idea being discussed, so readers can follow each point without having to infer its connection.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “cultural respect,” “sensitive information,” “security reasons,” and “considerable revenues.” These choices allow you to discuss both risks and benefits, and the meaning is generally clear. There are, however, several inaccurate or unnatural word combinations that limit precision: “feasibility of knowing current trends,” “enjoy others culture,” and “successful contributor to the considerable revenue generator” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling slips such as “arounf,” “bacame,” and “Paksitan” also reduce control. Aim for more conventional collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your argument sound more fluent and exact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including the concessive opening “While there are a few disadvantages…” and the inversion “Not only does such provision…”. These show some range, and the main ideas remain understandable. Some grammatical errors persist, particularly subject–verb agreement and plural forms: “Such platforms offers,” “people…posts,” “such provision increases,” and “travel give” should have matching verb forms. There are also errors in sentence construction, as in “making International travel somehow becomes risky,” and the final sentence has an awkward comparative structure. Review agreement, articles, and sentence patterns, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb. More consistent accuracy would strengthen the complex structures you are already attempting.
