Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, international tours and the use of numarious type of mass media have made it easy for everyone to explore the world and cultures of other countries. Some people believe that this development brings clear benefits, others worry about it consequences on society. However, I firmly believe that the advantages of travel and media outweigh its negative impacts. This essay will discuss both perspectives before reaching a reasoned conclusion.
To begin with, there are several reasons why people support the international travel and media. The main reason for this is that it creates an unlimited oppertunities for the citizens while exploring the other side of the world. This means that when people learn about the living styles and cultures of different nations through mass media, it promote awareness and provide basic information about how the develop countries become successful and how the poor countries are still undevelope. This information could be essential for new invetions. For instance, when people knew about why some countries did not have proper educational system while exploring through media or travelling, they find solution for that proplem and impliment a better educational system in their own country. Ultimately, a good education can create a successful pathway for better career.
On the other hand, we must consider the several arguments raised by opposing site. some people believe that this trend create a pressure on individuals to compete with others. For example, when people watch any new viral trend on social media, they start fallow this blindly just to highlight on social apps, whether it leaves negative or positive impact on society. Therefore, a mindful use of media is very crucial.
In conclusion, analyzing both viewpoints shows that wide spread of media and travel is a complex issue with main arguments on both sides. Although media and travel create some pressure of being fit in every trend, it have a very significant career and growth oppertunities. Therefore, the benefits of media and travel are far more than it negative consequences.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and state a clear position: “the advantages of travel and media outweigh its negative impacts.” The discussion of learning from other countries is relevant, and the education example gives this benefit some support. However, the explanation that observing educational problems leads people to “find solution” and implement a better system is not fully clear or convincingly developed. The disadvantage is also narrower: pressure to follow viral trends is relevant, but you could explain more directly how this affects people or communities and compare its significance with the benefits. To strengthen the response, develop each main point with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and make the comparison in your conclusion more specific.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and drawbacks, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the argument. However, some links between ideas are mechanical, and the progression within the first body paragraph is not always clear: the move from learning about successful and poorer countries to educational reform and career outcomes needs more explanation. The phrase “This means that” also introduces a point that does not fully clarify the preceding claim. Improve cohesion by making each paragraph follow a clear sequence—main idea, explanation, example, and result—and use pronouns and linking phrases only when their references are unmistakable.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “living styles and cultures,” “viral trend,” “awareness,” and “negative impacts.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “reaching a reasoned conclusion.” However, noticeable spelling errors and inaccurate word choices reduce precision, including “numarious,” “oppertunities,” “undevelope,” and “impliment.” Some expressions are also unnatural or unclear, such as “international tours,” “highlight on social apps,” and “pressure of being fit in every trend.” These issues make the vocabulary range seem limited and can distract the reader, even though the general meaning is usually recoverable. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning natural collocations, for example “international travel” and “keep up with trends.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “when,” “while,” and “although,” and most of the argument remains understandable. Some grammatical errors, however, recur in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction. For example, “it promote awareness” should use a verb agreeing with “it,” while “it have” also needs agreement; “an unlimited opportunities” has an article–plural mismatch. In “they start fallow this blindly,” the verb pattern is incorrect, and the sentence beginning “some people believe” needs a capital letter. These errors do not generally prevent understanding, but they limit control. Review subject–verb agreement, articles with singular and plural nouns, and verb patterns after “start” to improve accuracy.
