Student answer (Band 5.0)

Yes i am fully agree with it particulary that it has become more beneficial nowdays because of this mass media helps us to be aware about your neighbours country and even you can get info about all over the world.

This types of mass media like social media is helping people by spread knowledge on their own different perspectives and by this social media people have fully free to choose and follow anyone and from anywhere just because of this social media made this possible. Social media which i am talking about is whattsapp , instagram, telegram and many other apps which is related to news and awarness. There are also so many different kinds of articels are availible on internet about fashion , cars , tour guideness and many various things. Just due to this mass media its become possible for everyone to expand their boundries of ideas and give us choice the main thing is choice which was not possible for us to choose or decide the thing we want to know about some soecific search this thing was not availible due to lack of media sources and some others security issues. For example in country like pakistan was not possible for us to expand our knowledge because the data and resarch which we saw is limited and its also not relevant or simmilar to our resarches thats why pakistan stay behind in compared to other countries like its near by countries like india , china and iran too. These other countries expand their economy , geogrphy and value too but pakistan does not . But now days as after decades pakistan also goes on trcak and trying to push himself forward in this fast generation countries. For tourism countries which just have their historical sights , mountains , lacks , beaches and other things which make them suspecious and no other thing by which they can promote their country and develope economy in progress so thats types of media like social help them to promote themselves and attract tourists from all over the world. This media is also becomes helpful in busuiness and education. By this student can be taught or learn from anywhere and anytime , its aslso save our time in comunication.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You take a generally positive position, saying the development is beneficial, and give relevant examples involving access to information, tourism, education and business. The discussion of Pakistan and tourism shows an effort to support your view with specific contexts. However, the response does not clearly weigh advantages against disadvantages: it presents benefits almost exclusively and does not explain whether any drawbacks are outweighed. Several points are asserted rather than developed, such as the claim that Pakistan has fallen behind other countries, and the opening does not establish a precise answer to the comparison in the question. To strengthen the response, state your position directly and develop a smaller number of relevant benefits with clear explanations and examples, while acknowledging at least one disadvantage.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is some grouping of related ideas: you move from media and access to information to Pakistan, tourism, and then education and business. Examples such as social-media platforms and tourism attractions help readers identify your intended points. However, the response is presented as one long paragraph, so its overall progression is difficult to follow. Connections are often repetitive or unclear, especially the repeated use of “just because,” “by this,” and “also.” Some sentences contain several different claims without clear links, making it hard to see how each supports your position. Use separate paragraphs for the introduction, main arguments, and conclusion, and begin each body paragraph with one clear point. Then use precise linking phrases to show cause, contrast, or example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “mass media,” “perspectives,” “promote,” “tourists,” “economy,” and “communication.” This gives you some means of discussing information, travel, and development. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “social media,” “possible,” and “different.” Frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand, as in “tour guideness,” “expand their boundries,” and “countries expand their economy, geogrphy and value.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “fast generation countries.” Build a bank of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling; choose precise expressions such as “raise awareness,” “broaden people’s understanding,” and “attract international visitors” rather than relying on repeated general wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “which,” so there is some effort to vary sentence structure. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “mass media helps us” has an agreement problem, while “people have fully free to choose” is not grammatically formed. The opening, “Yes i am fully agree with it,” also has an incorrect verb pattern. Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, and several sentences run together. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Proofread for verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries.
