Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, the speard of the international exploure and the advancement of the media communication around the world is become more popular in this society. In contemporory days, it is effortless for the poeple to understand for are going in the world right now. I would argue that this is a positive development and this assay I will explain the upsides and downsides of this trend.
Admittedly, nowdays it is more easy and convinent for the poeple to understand the what are the actitvies and features that is involved in the life of the individulas all round the world, however, this can lead to the lack of personal privacy and loss of their oral values. For instance, with help of didgital tools of social media, you can easily figure out the various kinds of cultures and ethical values related to them.
The primary reason why I support this notion is that the spread and advancement of the travelling between different countries helps to understand the local people to adopt their culture or understand key factors. This can be attributed to the fact that how different types of people lives from different background origin. To illustrate this point, one need only consider is that when holydaymakers are travelled from one country to other, one key benefit is that they are promoting the tourisms and also helpful for economy growth. Another reason is that they are not only contibuting the economy growth but also acquired some kind of the cultures and try to mimic them in their own country.
In conclusion, although there are numerous drawbacks of the widwspread of the travelling and media, I personally, believe that this a advantageous development as compared to the negative development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a clear overall position, stating that the development is positive, and you include both a drawback and benefits. The discussion of tourism supporting local economies and visitors learning about other cultures is relevant to international travel. However, the response only partly answers the comparison in the question: it does not clearly explain why these advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The privacy point is introduced but not developed, and the media aspect receives little specific discussion. Some claims, such as visitors “mimic” cultures, also need explanation or a concrete example. To strengthen the response, compare the effects directly and develop each main idea with a clear explanation and relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and signposts such as “Admittedly,” “The primary reason,” and “In conclusion” help show the intended structure. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. The first body paragraph moves from privacy concerns to social media revealing cultures without explaining the connection, while the next shifts among travel, cultural understanding, tourism and economic growth. Some linking phrases, including “This can be attributed to the fact that,” introduce ideas without completing a clear logical link. Organise the body around distinct points—one paragraph for disadvantages and one for advantages—and use references and transitions that make the relationship between each claim and its support explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “personal privacy,” “ethical values,” “tourism,” and “economy growth,” and the reader can generally identify your intended subject. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “speard,” “exploure,” “contemporory,” and “oral values” (apparently intended to mean cultural values). Phrases such as “the advancement of the travelling” and “promoting the tourisms” are also unnatural. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than adding complex-sounding wording. Proofread spelling and choose precise terms—for example, distinguish between travel, tourism and media, and use “economic growth” rather than “economy growth.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession beginning “although” and clauses introduced by “that” and “when.” However, control is inconsistent, and faulty structures frequently make the reader work to interpret the meaning. Examples include “the advancement … is become more popular,” “it is more easy … to understand the what,” and “when holidaymakers are travelled.” There are also recurring problems with subject–verb agreement, articles and sentence construction, as in “different types of people lives.” Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then add subordinate clauses. Check verb forms and agreement, and read each sentence to ensure it has a complete, grammatically connected main idea.
