Student answer (Band 4.5)
The statement "The ease of international travel and the spread of various kinds of mass media all over the world have made it more possible than ever for people to know how other people live in another countries" is true like its very good to travel countries if its possible to them to know how other peoples live in other countries because by this we gain alot of knowledge and go through alot of experiences it gives us courage to stand in every situation. in this world there are many types of people and any type of places so when we visit them get to know about many different things it gives us alot of knowledge and confidence even it has many other advantages too we can also start our career by learning from them even when we live far away from our familyt we get to know there value and even it teaches us alot and but it also have alot of disadvantages some peoples also ruin their life when they go far away or when they saw some bad peope start visitibg them they got bad company and they gets into bad things by watching them so wwe should be careful if we have that guts to visit coyuntries alone only then u should take the risk bcz many time u get yourself in trap

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You mention relevant benefits, including gaining knowledge and confidence, learning from other people, and valuing family more when living far away. You also identify a possible disadvantage: being influenced by a harmful social circle. However, the response does not clearly answer whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages; the final advice to travel only if one has “the guts” is not a reasoned overall position. Ideas are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with examples, and the discussion of mass media is largely missing. The response contains 194 words, below the 250-word minimum; 34 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop both sides and state your judgement clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response contains a recognisable movement from advantages to disadvantages, signalled by “but it also have alot of disadvantages,” so the reader can identify the broad direction of your argument. However, nearly all the ideas are placed in one long, unpunctuated paragraph, with several points joined by repeated “and” and “even.” This makes the relationships between ideas difficult to follow, especially in the section about family, bad company, and risk. There is no clear introduction of your position or concluding summary. Use separate paragraphs for your position, advantages, disadvantages, and conclusion, and connect each point with clear, accurate transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, such as “knowledge,” “experiences,” “confidence,” and “disadvantages,” and the reader can generally understand the ideas you intend to express. However, the range is repetitive, with “alot” and “get to know” recurring, and several phrases are imprecise or informal, including “bad company,” “the guts,” and “get yourself in trap.” Spelling errors such as “visitibg,” “coyuntries,” and “peope” also make the writing less clear. Build a more precise range for discussing cultural exchange, media influence, and personal safety, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example by using “because” and “when,” but these structures are not controlled consistently. The opening contains a run-on sentence, and errors in agreement and verb forms appear in phrases such as “it also have” and “they gets.” There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “in another countries” and the extended sequence beginning “in this world there are many types of people.” These frequent errors sometimes make the intended relationships unclear. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them with accurate subordinate clauses and check subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
