Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and make your position clear: cultural understanding and learning are presented as benefits, while feelings of inferiority are the main drawback. The examples of learning languages and recipes help illustrate the advantages, and the comparison involving visitors from Asia and the USA gives the disadvantage some context. However, the benefits are developed more fully than the drawback, which is largely described rather than examined. The conclusion also introduces the idea that people can use what they learn to support development at home, but this point is not explained, and the final sentence is incomplete. Develop this reasoning and make the comparison of overall benefits and harms more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a concluding paragraph. The progression from cultural learning to possible feelings of inferiority is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “With all these advantages” introduces the disadvantage without clearly showing how the ideas relate, and “As people from the Asia, when visit USA” makes the example difficult to follow. The conclusion begins to summarise the argument but ends abruptly, weakening the overall sense of closure. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and ensure each paragraph completes its point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “inferiority complex,” “different cultures,” “beliefs and tradition,” and “professional life,” which allows you to discuss the topic and convey the main ideas. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “high quality of life” and “well structured and implemented rules.” However, inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the phrasing awkward: “travel international,” “multi media,” “advance knowledge,” and “high resources” are examples. Spelling errors such as “advantgaes,” “backgroud,” and “devleoped” also reduce precision. Build a more reliable set of topic-related collocations and check spelling and word forms so your vocabulary communicates ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “while” and “which,” and the main message is usually understandable. Some sentence structures are nevertheless faulty, particularly when clauses are joined or when a subject and verb are missing. For instance, “The advance technology changes people lives in much positive ways, people of different countries now can easily interact” joins two complete ideas with only a comma, while “when visit USA” lacks a clear subject. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “the people still can develop” and “that would leave a negative impact.” The unfinished final sentence further affects accuracy. Practise complete clause structures and punctuation, then proofread for agreement and articles.
