Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you state that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you include relevant points about learning health practices and cuisine, as well as the risk of being influenced by smoking or drug use. However, the response addresses the question only partially because most of the discussion describes what people may learn, rather than explaining how these effects compare in importance or why the benefits outweigh the risks. The examples, such as awareness of skin health in India, are asserted but not clearly explained or supported. The disadvantage is also brief and general. To strengthen the response, develop each main point with a clear explanation and a specific example, then directly weigh the benefits against the drawbacks.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposting such as “To commence with,” “Moving ahead” and “To conclude” makes the intended structure visible. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from health awareness to cuisine and then to taste without clearly linking these ideas. Several connectors are mechanical or do not show the relationship accurately, including “Therefore” before a sentence that restates both advantages and disadvantages. References such as “them” and “their” are sometimes unclear. Organise each paragraph around one central claim, connect each example explicitly to it, and use fewer, more precise linking expressions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “culture and tradition,” “daily life habits,” “influenced” and “advantages and disadvantages.” However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “get knowledge,” “fascinated toward them,” “different taste than usual,” and “social media influence in another nations people life.” Frequent misspellings such as “impliment,” “cusine’s” and “numrous” also reduce clarity. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and word forms. Prefer natural combinations such as “learn about other cultures” and “adopt aspects of another lifestyle,” and make sure each phrase expresses the intended meaning precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer conditional or subordinate structures, for example, “if individuals get to know about their way of living life” and “if people get fascinated … try to adore them.” However, complex attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation can make meaning hard to follow. For instance, “people who live in developed country are more aware” lacks an article and has an agreement problem, while “people who are out of India are consume more drugs” uses an incorrect verb pattern. Many sentences also run together without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time and check each sentence for a complete, grammatical structure.
