Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a clear overall view—“This development has more merits than demerits”—and give relevant benefits, including learning about culture and helping people prepare for study or work abroad. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it explains advantages but gives no disadvantages or comparison showing why the benefits outweigh them. The final point about earning money from travel vlogs is introduced but not developed. The response contains 137 words, so it is 113 words below the required minimum; the 25 words copied from the prompt were not counted. This short length leaves the position and supporting ideas minimally developed. To improve, discuss at least one disadvantage and explain why your chosen side is stronger, using specific examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening states your position, “Firstly” introduces a main point, and a separate final paragraph adds another benefit. The ideas are generally related to international travel and learning about other countries. However, progression is limited, and the second paragraph combines several points without clearly showing how they connect. “Although” introduces a clause that does not form a complete contrast, while “However” does not clearly signal a contrasting idea. The final paragraph feels added rather than developed from the preceding discussion. Use one paragraph for each main argument, connect each example explicitly to the question, and include a clear comparison of advantages and disadvantages.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main topic, with relevant expressions such as “cost of living,” “climate,” “culture,” and “travel vlogs.” You also attempt topic-specific wording, including “mass media” and “accessible.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the reader pause: “distribute of multiple kinds” and “the visual of multiple countries” do not express your meaning naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “convenince,” “instagran,” “benifical,” and “enviroment.” Build accuracy by learning common collocations and checking spelling, while varying repeated phrases such as “other countries.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and a more complex structure, for example, “Although this will help us…” and “some of them earned money through…”. However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. The sentence beginning “Although” is incomplete because it is not joined to an independent clause. In “its also benifical to certain people who wants,” the possessive form and subject–verb agreement are incorrect; “people” also requires “want.” The opening sentence has an unclear grammatical construction, and “Get to know about other countries helps us” uses an unsuitable verb form as its subject. Practise complete complex sentences, agreement, articles, and consistent sentence patterns, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
