Student answer (Band 5.5)
The overseas traveling and spread multiple kinds of mass media all the over the world and made it more possible for people to get know about the lifestyle in another nations. From my perspective, the benefits of then statement surpass the demerits to a large extent. The great culture awareness and education opportunity while, it creates misguide through the internet also can give misinformation and reduce the local culture and tradition.
Out of all the argument, the foremost one to support inclination is that from the internet individual get to know about the different culture and traditions and give respect respectively. Moreover, some develop countries have more education and job opportunity for better knowledge and wisdom. For instance, social media provide information about different religions, culture and traditions as well as development and locality of particular country. Hence, it improve knowledge about the history and traditions of the various nations.
On the contrary, there are certain drawbacks that should not be overlooked such as reducing the local culture and adapting the western culture, It might be devastate the original rivals. Furthermore, through the social media can lead to the misinformation or misguide about the place or culture. Internet is not accurate for the massive information. For example, in internet shows a luxury place but in the reality there no such place like that. As a result internet can not able to give the accurate information about the particular things.
In conclusion, the overseas places shows in the internet provides the culture awareness and education opportunities although, internet provide misinformation ad reduce the local culture and traditions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you believe the benefits of learning about other countries outweigh the disadvantages. You address both sides, identifying cultural awareness and educational opportunities as advantages, and misinformation and the weakening of local traditions as drawbacks. These points are relevant, but they are not developed evenly or convincingly. For example, the claim that some countries offer better education and jobs is not clearly connected to international travel or media, and the example of a luxury place shown online is too vague to demonstrate the wider impact of misinformation. To strengthen the response, explain how each main point affects people and support it with a specific, plausible example. Make the comparison explicit so the reader can see why the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. This makes the overall direction easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “On the contrary,” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages of the argument. However, some links are mechanical or unclear, and ideas within paragraphs do not always progress smoothly. For instance, the move from cultural awareness to education and job opportunities needs a clearer explanation, while “It might be devastate the original rivals” interrupts the disadvantage paragraph because its meaning is difficult to follow. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point, then connect examples directly to that point. Clearer referencing and transitions would make the argument more cohesive.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “culture awareness,” “misinformation,” “traditions,” and “education opportunity,” and you use some topic-specific terms to discuss international media and cultural influence. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate enough to make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Examples include “get know about the lifestyle,” “develop countries,” and “original rivals”; the last phrase does not communicate the intended idea. There are also repeated references to “internet” and “culture,” which could be expressed more precisely with alternatives such as online media, cultural practices, or local heritage. Focus on accurate word partnerships and choose vocabulary that conveys your intended meaning clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “although” and a conditional idea beginning “It might…”. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “the overseas traveling and spread… and made it more possible” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “it improve knowledge” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. The sentence beginning “Furthermore, through the social media can lead…” is also missing a clear subject. Practise building complete sentences with an explicit subject and verb, and check agreement and verb forms. Use complex clauses only when you can connect them accurately.
