Student answer (Band 5.0)
The comfort of abroad travel and spread of numerous types of mass media throughout the world , has made possible for citizens to get knowledge how people in other countries live .I strongly feel advantages would outweigh disadvantages .
The reason why statement has the positive effect is , through travelling , people from one country will be aware how the other countries ahead of them. This might include various factors like transportation facilities for public , how impactful it is on future generation regarding their studies , research ,prioritize culture , jobs etc,. Few countrie's Government provide free treatments for patients with multiple disorders , and not all countries follow these regulations .So individuals can compare the system following in their own country and how other countries have equipped further .For instance , China has been recognized as country which is living in 2050 , due to its advancements in technology and how people over there follow regulations .
Meanwhile the media also plays key role as they are the main source of information .Since ages , citizens have been following details covered by new channels , they are prioritized over any other means by elder citizens .Maybe the facts delivered can be biased regarding other countires development prioritizing own country side ,but this is the only source which is fetched at , and not all the media are same .
To conclude , it is agreed that the advantage of ease travelling and dependent on mass media has more disadvatages than advantages .But I strongly belive that there are many advantages of the given statement than demerits .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you identify relevant benefits of travel and media, such as learning about public transport, education, healthcare and technology in other countries. The China example also attempts to support your point. However, the response only partially develops the comparison asked for: the disadvantages receive just a brief mention of biased media, and the conclusion contradicts itself by saying the development has “more disadvantages than advantages” before restating the opposite view. Several ideas, including how international knowledge benefits people, remain general or unclear. To strengthen the response, explain the main disadvantage and weigh it directly against a developed advantage, while keeping your position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to travel, media and a conclusion, so the reader can identify the main topics. Some linking expressions, such as “Meanwhile” and “To conclude,” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the travel paragraph shifts rapidly from transport and education to culture, jobs and healthcare without explaining the connections. Linking is also sometimes mechanical, and references such as “this” and “they” do not always make the intended meaning clear. The conclusion’s opposing claims disrupt the overall line of argument. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, connect examples explicitly to it, and use clear references and transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “transportation facilities,” “multiple disorders,” “regulations,” “biased” and “advancements in technology.” These choices show an effort to discuss public services and international differences rather than relying only on basic words. However, several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the intended meaning hard to interpret: “comfort of abroad travel,” “get knowledge how people…live,” and “the only source which is fetched at” are examples. There are also spelling errors, including “countires,” “disadvatages” and “belive.” Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; using simpler, natural phrases is more effective than attempting expressions whose meaning is unclear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including “The reason why statement has the positive effect is…” and a sentence beginning “Since ages…”. However, complex attempts are often faulty, and errors in articles, verb forms, agreement and sentence boundaries occur frequently enough to make some ideas difficult to follow. For example, “has made possible for citizens to get knowledge how…” is missing grammatical elements, while “Few countrie's Government provide…” has problems with number and agreement. Punctuation spacing and comma use also make several sentences harder to read. Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then combine them with clear subordinate clauses; proofread each sentence for a subject, a correctly formed verb and complete punctuation.
