In recent years,in the international travel and the spread of various kinds of mass media all over the world have made it more possible has become increasingly common. While, this development has several advantages, it also has some disadvantages. This essay will discuss both the benefits and drawbacks.

One major advantage of mass media is we see over the world through the digital equipments. This means that those people who did not have any relatives and family member before going these country we check the seasons which is very benifical for our packing we pack those dress which is comfortable. Moreover, we book rooms and pin the point in other country. For example, at the age of 17 before i going to Saudi Arabia with my family for performing Umrah moreover, we have no idea about the Saudi Arabia weather we really confuse about it. However, i decided to check weather through the mass media and i check how people live there. Another benefit is we can make friends in other country before i goning.

Later on, we found out the information we saw through tha mass media was wrong.

In conclusion, although international travel and the spread of various kinds of mass media all over the world have made it more possible has disadvantages, its advantages such as we see other country weather and we can be aware of the situation in this country and what people are doing cannot be ignored.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both advantages and disadvantages and give relevant personal examples: checking Saudi Arabia’s weather before Umrah and changing a trip to Murree after seeing a forecast. However, the response only partially answers the central question of whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The introduction says there are benefits and drawbacks, but does not state which side is stronger; the conclusion lists benefits without clearly comparing them with the cost of misinformation. Several ideas are also under-developed, such as making friends abroad, which is mentioned but not explained. To strengthen the response, state a clear overall judgement and explain why the benefits or drawbacks have greater importance, using the examples to support that comparison.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and drawbacks, and a conclusion. Examples generally follow the point they illustrate, which helps the reader understand the intended organisation. However, progression within sentences and between ideas is often difficult to follow. For example, the opening sentence combines travel and media in a confusing way, while the first body paragraph moves from equipment to relatives, packing, room bookings, and a personal trip without clear links. Connectors such as “Moreover,” “However,” and “while” are sometimes used inaccurately or repeatedly. Use clearer topic sentences, keep each paragraph focused on one main idea, and make the relationship between each example and its point explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “mass media,” “misinformation,” “weather,” and “plans,” and the personal examples make your meaning partly clear. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms make the message difficult to interpret, such as “digital equipments,” “pin the point,” and “citizen changed the plans.” Spelling errors including “benifical,” “piror,” and “ticktets” also reduce accuracy. Aim to use more precise phrases for travel and information, and check spelling and word forms carefully. For instance, describe checking a forecast, locating a destination on a map, or cancelling a trip because of inaccurate information.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some complex sentences and use clauses with “while,” “because,” and “although,” but control is inconsistent. The opening sentence is structurally incomplete and repeats conflicting forms: “have made it more possible has become increasingly common.” Other examples include “before i going,” “we really confuse,” and “our ticktets were booked and then we changed the plans,” where verb forms and sentence construction are faulty. Articles, plurals, and punctuation also need attention, as in “the Saudi Arabia weather” and the lower-case “one” after a full stop. These frequent errors can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check tense consistency.
