Student answer (Band 5.0)
The statement shows us the ease of international travel nowadays and how the media made it more possible for people to know how the other people are living in different types of countries all over the world. There are advantages of this development and also some disadvantages .
Some airlines in the world made international travel very easy that you can book your ticket while sitting at home. Additionally, we can see the spread of mass media around the world which gives us the exposure of how foreigners are living in there countries . To exeplify, a survey conducted of BBC shows us that there are more than 60% of consultants in the world which can help us book our own ticket and visa while staying at home.
These were the some advantages and in my opinion they outweigh the disadvantages . The advantages of this development are more than disadvantages such as, media provides us so much information through many websites where we gain information about people living in other countries. This can help us in gaining information about there environment, nature and also work.
However, disadvantages of this development do not outweigh the advantages but should know them. Such as, media also provides false news sometimes, they can make someone's brain double minded. Whether they should apply for that country or not. For example, many consultants are just charging fee from there clients and not providing them enough information.
In conclusion, i reckon that the advantages do not outweigh the disadvantages but we should know how media is spreading false or good news all over the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you mention relevant points about access to travel information and misleading media or consultants. However, the position is not maintained: the conclusion says the advantages “do not outweigh the disadvantages,” directly contradicting the earlier claim. The discussion also only partly answers the comparison in the question. For instance, the point about learning about other countries’ environment and work is not explained with a specific consequence, while the example about consultants shifts attention from mass media and international travel. Develop two or three directly relevant ideas, explain how each affects people, and make your final judgement consistent with your introduction and body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has separate paragraphs for an introduction, advantages, disadvantages and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. Basic linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “However” and “In conclusion” also signal relationships between points. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some connections are unclear or mechanical. “These were the some advantages” does not clearly refer to a specific preceding point, and the final conclusion conflicts with the position stated earlier, disrupting the overall argument. The example about consultants also appears without a clear link to the claim about false media reports. Organise each body paragraph around one main idea, then explain and illustrate it in sequence, using references and linking phrases that make those relationships explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate basic ideas, including “international travel,” “mass media,” “false news” and “information.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “environment” and “consultants.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes meaning less clear. For example, “gives us the exposure of how foreigners are living” is an awkward way to describe learning about other people’s lives, and “make someone’s brain double minded” is unclear. Spelling errors such as “exeplify” and repeated use of “there” instead of “their” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling and possessive forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a relative clause in “websites where we gain information” and a contrast introduced by “However.” This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences awkward or difficult to follow. For example, “Some airlines … made international travel very easy that you can book” has an unclear clause structure, while “there are more than 60% of consultants” uses an incorrect construction. There are also problems with articles, agreement and punctuation, as in “These were the some advantages” and the spaces before full stops. Practise building accurate complex sentences and proofread each sentence for complete clauses, agreement and punctuation.
