Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, due to rapid increasing of latest technology, people lives have become easier to communicate with each other either thay are living in other part of countries or not. So, the ease of international travel and the spread of many sorts of multimedia all over the world have too much easier than ever for individuals to know how other people live in other countries. So in this regard, i agree totally agree that advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages.
Firstly, latest technology like various applications, skype, whatsapp, imo and snapchat has made people lives too much easier through communication. Because these applications provides faster speed and conversation through these applications, we feel as we communicate with each other physically. For instance, in past, people had no access to talk with each other, they usually used posts to adress any sort of problem. But in this latest era, with incraesing use of social media for various purposes like businesses, educational institutions as well as online trading. Additionally, international travel by planes also has made people lives much easier. Because in past, people cannot consider the travelling across seven continents, they considered it will be thier good luck if they reached other country. For Example, now these days, majority of students are going to abroad for higher education because its easier for them to go to another country as compare to past when there was no concept of international travelling.
On the other hand, it also causes some threats for youth because there is a lot of vulgar content on social media and all age of individuals are using mass media very well, in this way they seen a lot of absurd material and they start to following them. Furthermore, International travel can also cause to reduce their believe on their native country due to non-feasibility of some facilities.
In conclusion, no doubt international travel and vast variety of mass media has made people lives much easier as compared to past by providing easier way for business, communication and feasibility of exploring online information but it also distract the humans by using much more technology and also cause health issues. But i strongly state that advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the question directly and maintain a clear view that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Relevant benefits include easier communication, business and education, and greater access to international travel; you also acknowledge concerns about harmful online content and reduced attachment to one’s home country. However, the advantages are not developed equally: the communication example is broad, and the point about students studying abroad would be stronger with a specific explanation of what they gain. The disadvantages are mentioned but not fully explained, and the final reference to health issues appears without support in the body. Develop each main point with a clear cause, consequence and example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion that restates your position. This gives the reader an overall route through the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking is occasionally mechanical. The opening repeats “So,” while the first body paragraph moves from communication to social media uses and then travel without clearly separating or connecting these points. Some references, such as “they” in the discussion of harmful content, are not fully clear. Use topic sentences to signal each paragraph’s focus, group related examples together, and make links between claims and explanations more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “international travel,” “mass media,” “higher education,” and “online trading,” and you attempt some less common expressions such as “vulgar content” and “feasibility.” However, the range is limited by repeated general wording such as “easier” and “people lives,” while several choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “latest technology,” “too much easier,” and “reduce their believe.” Spelling errors such as “adress,” “incraesing,” and “thier” also affect the impression of control. Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocations so your meaning is consistently easy to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “when,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, some errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles and verb forms remain. For example, “these applications provides” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “people lives have become” needs a possessive form. The sentence beginning “But in this latest era” is incomplete, and “people cannot consider the travelling” does not express the intended idea clearly. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, including “i” and “For Example.” Practise building complete sentences and checking agreement and verb forms, while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
