Student answer (Band 5.5)
The increasing available of international travel and mass media has made it more easier for people to learn about lifestyles in other countries. I believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages .
There are a number of reasons why i believe that the mass media make easier to learn world wide culture . One possible factor is that people can learn different culture and traditions. For example if people travel other countries they connect their local people and communicate with them, which direct connect them to express their local fashion also the culture. Another significant reason is that people can learn about education and job opportunities also they can gain new experience it become help them to improve international relationship. Therefore, people who visited other countries he save numerous idea about other culture and the government systems. Moreover ,they can improve their IT skills also the value of their job.
Despite the advantages there are some downside of this trend . Fristly, many young people may follow foreign lifestyle, which impact countries tradition , because of young individuals may forget their own culture and traditions. Secondly, social medias news unrealistic may people exited to show same as they watch on social medias photo or video sometimes it fored and they become disapointed . In addtion, people may feel dissatisfied with their own lives .
In conclusion, although there are some disadvantages, i believe the advantages of this trend development are greater .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and you address both sides of the question. Relevant advantages include learning about other cultures, education and job opportunities, while the disadvantages concern cultural loss and unrealistic social-media portrayals. However, these points are mostly listed rather than explained: for example, the link between travel and improved international relationships is asserted but not illustrated with a specific example. The conclusion repeats your position without summarising the main reasons. The response is also 8 words below the required minimum, so it does not fully meet the task instructions. Develop fewer ideas more fully and add a concrete example to support each main point.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, one on disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main sections, and signposts such as “Despite the advantages” and “In conclusion” are useful. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some points are joined mechanically with “Another,” “Therefore,” and “Moreover” without a clear relationship. The sentence beginning “Moreover” introduces IT skills and job value without explaining how these connect to the preceding ideas. Referencing is also unclear in places, such as “people who visited other countries he save numerous idea.” Organise each body paragraph around one central claim, then explain and exemplify it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “international travel,” “lifestyles,” “culture and traditions,” “education and job opportunities,” and “government systems.” This gives you enough language to communicate the broad subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow, such as “increasing available,” “direct connect them to express their local fashion,” and “social medias news unrealistic.” Spelling errors, including “Fristly,” “addtion,” and “disapointed,” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check word forms and spelling. More precise expressions would help you explain your ideas clearly rather than relying on general terms such as “different culture” and “new experience.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “young people may follow foreign lifestyle, which impact countries tradition” and a conditional idea beginning “if people travel.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “has made it more easier,” “if people travel other countries they connect their local people,” and “people who visited other countries he save.” There are also problems with agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries. For instance, “which impact” does not agree with its subject, and several long sentences need clearer punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each sentence for a complete, correctly connected clause.
