Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You cover both the charts and the survey, and your overview identifies the main contrast: fines rise sharply while fatalities remain broadly stable. The figures of 1.6 million in year 8 and the survey’s 60% and 71% results are accurately reported. This gives the report a clear, relevant foundation. However, some parts are less fully developed: the fines trend is described mainly from year 5 onward, with little account of its earlier steady growth, and the survey summary omits the exact proportion who think there are too many cameras. The claim that public opinion is “against its favor” is also too broad, since the responses concern different questions. Include a few more key comparisons and make the overview more precise to strengthen coverage.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, an overview, a paragraph on the chart trends, and a final paragraph on survey findings. This makes the information easy to follow, and phrases such as “Overall” and “then” help signal progression. The organisation is coherent, though the links between ideas are sometimes basic or unclear. For example, “The reason for speed camera introduction is to raise revenue that is what 71% of people thinks” combines the survey question and result awkwardly, while the final sentence adds another survey finding without a specific percentage. Grouping the survey results more systematically and using clearer links between each question and its figures would make cohesion more controlled and the progression more complete.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of task-related vocabulary, including “speed camera fines,” “road accident fatalities,” “sudden surge,” and “remained stable.” These choices communicate the main trends, and the meaning is generally clear. There are, however, some imprecise or unnatural expressions: “speed violators” is less suitable than a neutral description of drivers caught speeding, and “against its favor” does not clearly express the survey findings. “Casualties” is also not equivalent to “fatalities,” as it can include people who were injured but survived. Greater precision in describing the chart and survey, alongside more natural collocations, would improve the range and control of your vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms, and the overall meaning is usually understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For instance, “the speed camera fines shows” should use a plural verb, while “the reason … is … that is what 71% of people thinks” needs clearer clause structure and agreement. In “The people's opinion … is against its favor,” the possessive and pronoun reference also make the sentence difficult to interpret. There are some accurate sentences, such as “The road accident fatalities in the given period remained in between 3000 and 3500,” but more consistent control of agreement and complete sentence patterns is needed. Proofread each sentence for its subject and verb.
