Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers all parts of the task, including the graphs and the tables. However, the data presentation is problematic. You describe the trends in the graphs, but the figures provided (e.g., '200,000 in 1') are unclear because you do not specify the units or the time frame correctly. Furthermore, the description of the table data is fragmented and lacks a clear summary or comparison. To improve, ensure you group data logically and provide a clear overview of the main trends rather than just listing percentages. The report lacks a cohesive summary of the relationship between the variables.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is organized into a single paragraph, which makes it difficult to follow. A report should be structured with an introduction, a clear overview, and separate paragraphs for the graphs and the tables. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Regarding' and 'As for', the flow is mechanical. The transition between the graph data and the survey results is abrupt. To improve, use paragraph breaks to separate distinct data sets and employ a wider range of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'the figure grew' and 'the figure fluctuate'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'people that killed by road accidents' (should be 'people killed in road accidents') and 'believe to raise revenue' (which is grammatically awkward). To reach a higher band, try to use more precise verbs and nouns related to data description, such as 'soared', 'remained stable', or 'a significant proportion of respondents'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. For example, 'speed camera placed on roads' should be pluralized, and 'the figure fluctuate' lacks subject-verb agreement. Your sentence structures are mostly simple, and there is a lack of complex sentence forms. The phrasing 'too many for the question what do you think amount of speed camera' is ungrammatical and confusing. Focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and using a wider variety of sentence structures, such as relative clauses or passive voice, to improve your accuracy and range.
