Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers all parts of the task, including the graph data and the survey results. However, the analysis is somewhat superficial. While you correctly identify the trend in fines and the stability of fatalities, the description of the survey data lacks precision. For example, you mention '32% among the people agreed' but do not clearly link this to the specific survey question. To improve, ensure you provide a clear overview of the main trends in the introduction and group the survey data more logically to highlight the contrast between public perception of safety versus revenue generation. The report is informative but would benefit from more analytical synthesis of the data points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The response is generally coherent, but the paragraphing is insufficient. The entire text is presented as one block, which makes it difficult to follow the transition between the graph data and the survey results. You use some cohesive devices like 'On the other hand' and 'In the first year', but the flow is occasionally mechanical. To reach a higher band, you must use clear paragraph breaks to separate the introduction, the graph analysis, and the survey findings. Additionally, ensure that referencing is clear; for instance, 'the survey' should be introduced more formally to guide the reader through the different sections of the data.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'fluctuation', 'revenue generation', and 'respondents'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. For example, 'speed cameras are printed in our mind' is unnatural; 'speed cameras are a familiar concept' would be better. Similarly, 'blank to claim any thing' is not standard English; 'undecided' or 'offered no opinion' would be more appropriate. There are also minor spelling and punctuation issues, such as 'now a days' (nowadays) and 'any thing' (anything). Expanding your range of academic collocations will help improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('The graph illustrate' instead of 'illustrates'), missing articles ('at the first year' instead of 'in the first year'), and awkward phrasing ('71%people purported'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic subject-verb agreement and article usage will significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
