Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers all parts of the task, including the graphs and the survey tables. However, the data presentation is problematic. You use non-standard units like 'lakhs' and 'crore', which are not appropriate for an international IELTS exam. Furthermore, the data interpretation is inaccurate; for instance, stating the fine 'remained double' is vague, and the range provided (2 lakhs to 1.5 crore) is not clearly supported by the visual data provided. To improve, focus on identifying key trends and selecting representative data points rather than listing figures that are difficult to follow. Ensure your units of measurement are consistent and standard.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical progression is hindered by awkward transitions and unclear referencing. Phrases like 'At a fleeting glance' and 'Moving head' are not standard academic cohesive devices and sound unnatural. The connection between sentences is often mechanical, and the lack of clear signposting makes it difficult for the reader to follow the comparison between the graphs and the survey results. Using more precise linking words such as 'In contrast', 'Furthermore', or 'Consequently' would help improve the flow and coherence of your report.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and contains several inaccuracies. You rely on basic descriptors and struggle with appropriate terminology for data reporting. For example, 'data of road accidents has less flactuations' is imprecise; 'fluctuations' is also misspelled. The use of 'one forth' instead of 'one-fourth' or 'a quarter' and 'not agree' instead of 'disagree' indicates a lack of control over word choice and collocation. To reach a higher band, you should practice using more sophisticated vocabulary related to trends, such as 'significant increase', 'remained stable', or 'a substantial proportion'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'fine rate increases', '8% has no views'), article usage (e.g., 'in first year'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple, and attempts at more complex structures often result in errors, such as 'Half of population reply that there are many cameras but 19% are not agree'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of periods. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and verb forms will significantly improve your score.
