IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The graphs below show the number of drivers in Britain who have been caught driving too fast by speed cameras placed on roads, and the number of people killed in road accidents, over an eight-year period since the introduction of speed cameras. The tables show the results of a survey on people's opinions on speed cameras.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

SPEED CAMERA FINES and ROAD ACCIDENT FATALITIES

Student answer (Band 5.0)

As this survey shows us what the people think about the speed camera fines and road accident fatalities but this also shows us that what people think about the relation of theses speed camera fines with the road accident let us look athe graph of speed camera fines which is a set of data of about 8 years shows us that during this eight year period the ratio of fine issued each year has gradually increased in number each year which at highest about 1.8m of fines has been given during this time period which indicates that people are less worried of getting fined each year and there was no effect of reduction in that graph moving on to the next graph which shows road side accidents fatalities these numbers during this time period are very uneven as each year we a rise in the ammount of these fatal accidents but after about 2 to 3 years there is slight decline and relating it with speed camera fines we find no resemblence to both of the graphs moving on to the next topic which general public have answered some question with options yes, no and dont know first question do you think speed camera reduce the number of accidents on the road? thirty two percent said yes 60% said no and 8% said dont know resembling this to the graphs and we do know the answer it does not. moving on to the next question what do you think is the main reason for the instalaton of speed cameras? options were to improve road saftey which is 26% , to raise revenue 71% , dont know 3% and with resemblence of the graph this is correct that cameras does not effectively help in this secnario of saftey they are just there to increase revenue as public dont care abour paying the fine the last question. what do you think about the number of speed cameras on the roads? option 1 was too many with 56% , option 2 was too few 19% , option 3 was about right 17% and last option 4 dont know 8%. so people do critisize about that there are too many cameras on the roads which is very difficult to follow where to go slow.
