IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The graphs below show the number of drivers in Britain who have been caught driving too fast by speed cameras placed on roads, and the number of people killed in road accidents, over an eight-year period since the introduction of speed cameras. The tables show the results of a survey on people's opinions on speed cameras.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

SPEED CAMERA FINES and ROAD ACCIDENT FATALITIES

The line graphs and tables illustrate that the number of drivers who have been caught driving too fast and the people killed in road accidents after the introduction of speed cameras in Britain, over an 8 years period with the results of a survey on people's opinion on speed cameras.

Overall, the graph shows that the both speed camera fine and road accident fatalities had an incline but road accident fatalities had some fluctuation over the period. Furthermore in survey majority of people's think speed cameras did not reduce the number of accidents, to improve revenue speed cameras were installed and the roads have too many cameras.

A detailed analysis of the line graph shows that, In the first six-year fines from speed camera had a significant increase from [redacted phone] to [redacted phone] then it rose sharply to [redacted phone] till final year. On the other hand road accident fatalities had a marginal increase from 3100 to 3300 between first and third year then it dropped back to its initial levels in fourth year and it had a slight increase to 3400 till last year. In spite of fluctuation in middle years.

Furthermore, the 62% of people's does not think that speed cameras reduce the number of accident with 32% are with the statement and 8% have no idea. Similarly 71% of people think speed cameras are installed to increase revenue with 26% thinking its for road safety and rest for they do not know the purpose; whereas 36% of people think there are too many cameras followed by people thinking there are too few at 19% with 17% think it about right and rest do not have any say in the statement.
