The graphs below show the number of drivers in Britain who have been caught driving too fast by speed cameras placed on roads, and the number of people killed in road accidents, over an eight-year period since the introduction of speed cameras. The tables show the results of a survey on people's opinions on speed cameras.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

REPORT ON SPEED CAMERA FINES AND ROAD ACCIDENT FATALATIES IN BRITAIN OVER EIGHT YEARS

In the space of eight years, there were speed cameras installed on the streets and road of Britain. A total of 1,600, 000 drivers were caught and fined for driving too fast by cameras placed on the roads. The highest number of culprits were apprehended in the eighth year according to the report. However, the camera fine survey indicates that, every year recorded an increase in the number of drivers fined as compared to the previous year.

According to the survey, speed the introduction of speed cameras did not necessarily reduce the number of road accident fatalities in the years under survey. In the year four of the accident fatalities survey, the number of cases were reduced but only lasted for that very year. The subsequent increase in the accident fatality cases led to loss of confidence in the speed camera according to the opinions of the people.
