IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The graphs below show the number of drivers in Britain who have been caught driving too fast by speed cameras placed on roads, and the number of people killed in road accidents, over an eight-year period since the introduction of speed cameras. The tables show the results of a survey on people's opinions on speed cameras.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

SPEED CAMERA FINES and ROAD ACCIDENT FATALITIES

Student answer (Band 5.0)

When we look at the speed camera fines ranging from Year 1 to Year 8 there is a clear increase making the 8th year to highest in which a total of 1.6 million fines were collected.People were asked what they tought was the main reason for the installation of speed cameras,most of them had the opinion that they were installed ot increase the revenue this study shows the mindset of people.Another data was collected to account the fatalities that occur due to road accidents which showed different ups and downs in the graph due to which a conclusion cannot be drawn.When people were asked if cameras reduced the number of accidents then the majority was of the opinion that it does not reduce the number of accidents.Public opinion on the number of speed camera,as of now,says that there are too many cameras were almost 56% people agree to this notion whereas a combined 36 percent of people say that its too few or about right
