IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The graphs below show the number of drivers in Britain who have been caught driving too fast by speed cameras placed on roads, and the number of people killed in road accidents, over an eight-year period since the introduction of speed cameras. The tables show the results of a survey on people's opinions on speed cameras.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

SPEED CAMERA FINES and ROAD ACCIDENT FATALITIES

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The line graph illustrates the number of drivers in Britain who was driving fast caught with the help of camera on roads and number of people died in road accidents in eight years with the help of camera and table depicts survey on on people opinions on speed camera. Looking from an overall perspectives, it is apparent that fines on overspeeding were drastically increased while the road accidents were slightly fluctuated.

Firstly, the overspeeding fines with the help of speed camera was at 200,000 after that it was increased continously with the passage of time steadily to 5 years and then it soared to 1,600,000. Moreover, the road accidents were at nearly to 3100 deaths in 1 year after that the number of death were marginally increased, which slightly higher in 8 year.

Secondly, it seem that accidents were reduce 32% and there are no affect of speed camera regarding to 60% individual and only 8% do not know about this situation. Moreover, the speed camera raise revnue about 71% and only 26% increase in road safety. Furthermore, the installation of speed camera on the roads were accounted for 56% and too few were at 19%. however only 17% camera were intalled on the right location and 8% individual did not know about intallation of camera on the roads.
