The graphs below show the number of drivers in Britain who have been caught driving too fast by speed cameras placed on roads, and the number of people killed in road accidents, over an eight-year period since the introduction of speed cameras. The tables show the results of a survey on people's opinions on speed cameras.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

SPEED CAMERA FINES and ROAD ACCIDENT FATALITIES

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given graphs illustrates the speed camera fines and road accident fatalities in Britian during the time interval of eight years. On the other hand, the survey gives opinion of the indiviuals on speed cameras.

Lets first talk about speed camera fines, it see a gradually hike in fines from first year to the end of eight year.In eight years government generate a huge revenue of [redacted phone] dollars.

On the other hand, there is no such change in road accident fatalities. They show slightly change in all 8 years with several up and downs.

In the first survey, most citizens said no for the speed camera reduce accidents. only 32 percent of indiviuals said yess and 8 percent have no thoughts. In the second survey, most people thinks that speed camera is only to generate revenue but 26 percent britian thinks that they are installed to improve road safety and 3 percent dont know the purpose of camera installation.

The last survey was about the number of cameras on the road where most of britian thimk that they are too much in number whereas 19 percent think that they are less in number.

The indiviuals that think they are correct in number are only 17 percent and 8 percent have no point of view .
