Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the main parts of the task by outlining the trends in the line graphs and summarizing the survey tables, though 49 words were copied directly from the prompt. However, some of the data points are misread or inaccurately reported, such as stating that fines reached "8 lakh in sixth year" and later citing "16 lakh", which misinterprets the scale of up to 2,000,000. The overview provided in the second paragraph is somewhat unclear and contains expression errors ("fine of speed cameras"). While the response attempts to cover all visual data, the lack of precision in reading figures and the limited development of key trends mean the task is only partially addressed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The text is organized into paragraphs, attempting to group the line graph data and the survey tables separately. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and the logical flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions like "At a fleeting glance" or "Moving to accident fatalities". Referencing is sometimes imprecise, and cohesive devices are overused or used inaccurately, such as repetitive sentence openings. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is weak, resulting in an arrangement that feels disjointed rather than logically structured throughout.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. There are noticeable lexical errors and inappropriate word choices, such as using "fine of speed cameras" instead of the number of fines or penalties issued, and using the Indian numbering term "lakh" instead of standard units. Spelling and word-formation errors are also present, including "crystral" and "occured". While the writer attempts to use some less common terms like "fatalities" and "revenue", frequent inaccuracies in collocation and word choice cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the lexical score to this level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writing shows a very limited range of sentence structures, relying mostly on simple and flawed complex sentences. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ("number of road accident fatalities were remained same", "accidents was occured"), tense inconsistencies, and incorrect verb forms ("there was increased in number"). Prepositional and article errors also occur regularly. These frequent errors persist across most sentences and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader in parsing the intended meaning, keeping the grammatical control at a basic level.
