Student answer (Band 5.5)
The line graphs illustrates the amount of fine payed by people in egiht year since the speed cameras were intalled in Britain while driving to fast and number of people died in road accidents. The table below the provides the information abouts speed camera from peoples.

The survey does provide positive reply term of intalling the speed camera.
As we saw the speed camera fine line graph, as it has rapid change during first 5 year as it start from 200,000 and moved to almost 580,000. But at the last three year their was a sharp change the fine after 3 year moves 1,590,000. It was more than double of first five year.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You cover both graphs and all three survey questions, and your overview identifies the main contrast: fines rose substantially while fatalities changed little. Several details, however, are inaccurate or unclear. Fatalities were highest in Year 8, but the minimum was in Year 1, not Year 4; the figures fluctuate rather than showing the pattern described as slight increases and decreases. The survey says 26% believed cameras were installed to improve safety, not 20%, and 19% thought there were too few cameras, not “too much less.” The overview also says the survey gave a “positive reply,” although most respondents doubted cameras reduced accidents and thought revenue was the main motive. Select the key trends accurately and summarise the survey results more clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, separate discussion of the graphs, and a paragraph on the survey. This makes the main areas of the task easy to locate. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the road-accident description, where the sequence of years and changes is unclear. Linking phrases such as “while” are repeated and sometimes connect ideas awkwardly, as in the final paragraph. References such as “it” and “their” also make it uncertain which figure or series is being discussed. Group the survey findings into clearer comparisons and use explicit references to the fines, fatalities, or respondent percentages to make the report flow more smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “speed cameras,” “road accidents,” “revenue,” and “road safety,” so the topic is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning hard to interpret. For example, “fine payed” is not a natural way to describe the figures, and “the fine after 3 year moves 1,590,000” does not clearly express the sharp rise in the final years. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “egiht,” “intalled,” and “decrese.” Build a more precise set of trend expressions and check spelling and collocations; the suggestions below offer useful replacements.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including comparisons between the two graphs, but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in sentences such as “The line graphs illustrates” and “it raise up to 1,600,000.” Articles and sentence construction are also problematic in “The table below the provides the information,” while the long final paragraph contains several clauses joined without clear grammatical structure. These errors can make relationships between figures difficult to follow. Practise accurate past-tense reporting and subject–verb agreement, and divide long sentences into shorter units. For example, state the fines trend in one sentence, then contrast it with the relatively stable fatality figures in another.
