Student answer (Band 5.0)

I completely disagee with this point of view that anyone can do it in arts, music, literature, acting etc and people with talents is not valued or appreciated, it's a myhth that sometime people with zero talents become rich and famous.

firstly, I know a girl which has zero talents and became famous in one night and now she is earning a handsome amount per month on social media. she danced on a normal song and audience on the social media liked it and she got too many new followers and it raised his view time. for example, indian influencer anjli arora was famous for kacha badam song in 2023.

second, person who has a talent no one can stoped him to became rich and famous. when audience saw the person with a genuine talents they admired it and by the time he/ she became famous. Permanant success needs hardwork, efforts and time. for example, arjit sigh is well known gor his beautiful voice, variety of rythms and heart touching music and directions.

Therefore, hardwork always payoffs. when you work hard your effors and time always brought you to success and luck is also imporatnat in this reagrd. Many people who knows nothing about the music, arts, literature, and acting but became famous with one song or one night show or a video posted on socila media. And I again said that permanant success needs efforts, time and hardwok.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you disagree that people without talent can become rich and famous while genuine talent is overlooked. You support this with examples of a social-media influencer and a singer, and you acknowledge that some people do become famous quickly. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The influencer example shows how someone can gain attention, but it does not explain whether she lacks talent or whether genuine artists are consequently undervalued. The singer example supports your view, but needs more explanation of how sustained success demonstrates the value of talent. The response also falls 12 words short of the required minimum. Develop both examples and connect them directly to the question.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic structure, with an opening position, two supporting points and a concluding statement. Sequencers such as “firstly,” “second” and “therefore” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression is limited because the conclusion repeats the claim that permanent success requires effort, rather than drawing together the examples or addressing whether talent is appreciated. Some links are unclear: the influencer example is followed by a claim about genuine talent without explaining the relationship between them. The final paragraph also shifts between hard work, luck and people becoming famous overnight. Use clearer paragraph focus and connect each example explicitly to the point it is meant to prove.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “genuine talents,” “followers,” “hardwork,” “admired” and “permanent success.” These choices make your main ideas understandable. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “famous,” “success” and “talent.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “myhth,” “effors,” “imporatnat” and “payoffs,” which can distract the reader. Some phrases are not natural in this context, including “raised his view time” and “zero talents.” Build a wider set of accurate terms for discussing artistic ability, public recognition and lasting careers, and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the reader can generally follow your position. However, the range of structures is limited, and longer sentences often contain several grammatical errors. For example, “people with talents is not valued” has an agreement problem, while “a girl which has zero talents and became famous” has an unclear relative clause and inconsistent verb forms. In “no one can stoped him to became rich,” the verb forms and construction are incorrect. Articles, plurals and punctuation are also inconsistent, and several sentences begin with lowercase letters. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, past and present forms, and sentence boundaries; shorter, correctly controlled sentences will make your argument clearer.
