Student answer (Band 6.0)
In few nations, some people argue that in the field of art success is easy to achieve.in result people with no trait of talent achieved the fame and earn the money whereas genuine talent is not valued or appreciated
I strongly disagree with this notion because art is the field in which pure talent is necessary to earn fame and money.
In the modern world, a significant number of people are struggling in the field of arts.however,in singing many singers are using help of technical tools like auto tune to achieve the success. But they get fail due to lack of talent , because in the live concerts they get fail to serve at people expectations,in result their carrier get flop while the artist with pure talent remain successful for life time.
On the other hand , art is the field in which talent play the crucial role , without having a talent, people can't earn the money and fake.. In the modern world social media clear the door for the people who have real talent.for instance people who have real talent like singing ,drawing etc are posting their art videos on social media platforms like instagram, facebook etc. on these platforms, only real talent achieve the fame and money , there is no role of money.
In conclusion ,art is the field in which pure talent is necessary for the success, however many people try shortcut for success but in result they get flop whereas artist with pure talent achieve fame and money.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that success in the arts is easily achieved without talent. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media and live performances as evidence, the arguments remain repetitive and lack depth. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your examples—for instance, by discussing how the 'gatekeeping' nature of the arts industry or the necessity of long-term training contradicts the 'anyone can do it' attitude. The conclusion is a bit simplistic and merely restates the introduction rather than synthesising the main points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'in result' is used repeatedly as a substitute for 'as a result' or 'consequently', and the transition 'however' is sometimes placed awkwardly. Additionally, the punctuation is inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods and commas (e.g., 'achieve.in result'). Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring correct punctuation would significantly improve the flow and logical progression of your arguments.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'money', 'fame', and 'talent' throughout the essay. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'trait of talent', 'serve at people expectations', and 'carrier get flop'. These errors occasionally make the meaning slightly unclear. To improve, focus on learning collocations related to the arts and professional success, and try to use more sophisticated synonyms to avoid repetition.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the quality of the writing. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'talent play the crucial role'), incorrect article usage, and awkward phrasing. Punctuation is a significant weakness, particularly the lack of spaces after punctuation marks and the misuse of commas. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for punctuation would be very beneficial.
