Student answer (Band 6.5)
In these days in some countries there is a behavior that any one can perform in the arts like music, literature , acting and art. Consequently people with no talent become wealthy and real talented people are not valued and appreciated.
I strongly disagree with this statement .
Mainly people who are famous and wealthy are talented . Although they are less talented then others but they have other skills like consistency and management. These skills are necessary to be famous and to present their talent to world. For instance, Mr. Beast is the most famous Youtuber in the entire history of media. He told in his interview '' may be there are much talented people than me out there but I am the most consistent and determined''. Therefore, It is necessary to have other useful skills along with talent .
In contrast , Genuine talented people may not get the appreciation and value they deserve because they lack the skills like determination and marketing . These skills are important to be successful . A talented person can't be famous if he does not do marketing of himself . Some talented artists fed up quickly and lose patience . Consequently, they quit . For instance, a singer which is may be less talented compared to other one but he is regularly active on social media and upload his content daily . There are higher chances that the person with social media would make his career in singing.
I conclude that less talented get fame and wealth due to other skills they have which sometimes most talented ones do not have.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position and providing relevant arguments. You successfully argue that success in the arts is often a combination of talent and secondary skills like marketing and consistency. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide a relevant example regarding Mr. Beast, the explanation of how 'genuine talent' is undervalued could be more deeply explored. The conclusion is a bit brief and merely restates the introduction rather than synthesizing the arguments. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph provides a more thorough analysis of the implications of your arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Consequently', 'For instance', and 'In contrast' to link your thoughts. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. Additionally, some transitions between sentences are abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'a singer which is may be less talented'. Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall flow and coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'consistency', 'determined', and 'marketing'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and awkward phrasing, such as 'fed up quickly' and 'do marketing of himself'. There is also a lack of variety in your vocabulary, with some words repeated frequently. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition and demonstrate a wider range of lexical control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('less talented then others', 'a singer which is may be'), article usage, and sentence construction. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas. These errors do not significantly impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and refining your use of complex sentence structures will help improve your score in this area.
