Student answer (Band 7.0)
In this modern era, some people think that anyone can do anything in their career such as music, literature, acting, art, etc. As a consequence, individuals who do not have talent become rich and well-known instate of people who have real talent. In my opinion, I partly agree with this view.
On the one hand, one of major reasons why people without talent get attention of the world is social media. Nowadays, billions of people using social media platforms and people with less or without talent upload their songs or acting skill as a reel, which get viral rapidly within a hour. For example, a Bangladeshi content creator called "SP CREATONS" upload his music videos in dramatic ways on Facebook daily, which gradually went viral and now he become a famous influencer in the region without having a musical knowledge. This example demonstrates that without having talent people achieved fame.
On the other hand, sometimes things goes opposite, people with talent also came out through social media. They normally creates videos and upload on social media or go to a party to show their talents. For instance, a 20 years old singer in India, who sang several times on parties and got attention from a musical band and they offer him to join the band with a high wage. Therefore, it is not true that always people without talent become rich and famous, sometimes we made famous them who actually deserve.
In conclusion, while I agree that social media and modern entertainment platforms have enabled some untalented individuals to achieve wealth and fame, I do not believe this means genuine talent is no longer valued. Truly skilled artists continue to earn recognition and long-term success because audiences ultimately appreciate quality, creativity, and dedication. Therefore, I partly agree that the current trend has reduced the visibility of talent to some extent, but it has certainly not replaced or diminished its overall value.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. You have provided relevant examples, such as the mention of social media influencers and the Indian singer, to support your arguments. The ideas are generally well-developed, though the explanation of the 'anyone can do it' attitude could be more nuanced. To reach a higher band, ensure that your examples are fully integrated into the argument to demonstrate a deeper analysis of why this trend exists and its broader implications for the arts. Overall, the response is balanced and directly answers the question.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'Therefore' to guide the reader through your arguments. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing, such as 'sometimes we made famous them,' which disrupts the flow. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents to enhance the overall progression of your ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'modern era,' 'influencer,' and 'recognition.' There are some instances of awkward phrasing or word choice, such as 'instate of' (instead of) and 'musical knowledge' (which should be 'musical talent' or 'formal training'). While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the precision of your expression. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations and idiomatic expressions related to the arts and media, and ensure that your word choices are consistently accurate in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'billions of people using' (should be 'are using'), 'things goes opposite' (should be 'go in the opposite direction'), and 'sometimes we made famous them' (should be 'we make them famous'). These errors are noticeable but rarely impede communication. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency. Increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences will help you move toward a higher band score.
