Student answer (Band 5.0)
In contenporary society, many people are proficient about their works. There is attitide that 'anyone can do it' in the arts - music, literature, acting, art, etc. So that's why, individual with no talent become rich and aminent and genuine talent is not valued or appreciated. I strongly agree with this statement.
First and foremost, moder technology has mabe it much easier for people to become famous without any experience. This is because there are so many social media paltforms available in phone. Fot instance, Youtube, Instagram, Snapchart, Facebook through this palfoms individual can easily make reels and attract million of followers through enterteining people. As a result, person have not any genuine talent even though they achive income.
Moreover, anyone can become famous by creating viral content.
Such as, a person with average singing ability may gain million of followers through short video, while professionalu trained singer remain unknown. Furthermore, company promote people who are attractive and have a strong online presence. For example, some actors are cast because they are popular on social media, not because of their acting skills. Hence, company do markrting by uesing this type activity.
In recaptulation, although every one should get equal chance, but if someone have talent, so they become a famous through their act. and I tend to deem that music, acting and literature have attain more knowlegde and i believe that enery one does not get this type skills without any prectice and knowleged anout it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the essay falls slightly short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which necessitates a penalty. While the ideas regarding social media and viral content are relevant, they are somewhat underdeveloped. The conclusion is a bit disjointed and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented in the body paragraphs. To improve, ensure that each point is supported by more detailed analysis and ensure the essay meets the minimum length requirement to avoid unnecessary point deductions.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the awkward transition 'So that's why' in the introduction and the repetitive use of 'For example' and 'Furthermore'. The logical progression between sentences is sometimes hindered by grammatical errors, making the flow feel disjointed. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that the relationship between sentences is clearly established through more sophisticated referencing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range expected at higher levels. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'contenporary', 'attitide', 'aminent', 'paltforms', 'markrting', 'prectice') and some awkward word choices, such as 'proficient about their works'. While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'viral content' and 'online presence', the frequent spelling mistakes and limited range of collocations restrict the score. Focusing on accurate spelling and learning topic-related word families would significantly improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('person have not any genuine talent', 'company promote people') and incorrect sentence construction ('although every one should get equal chance, but if someone have talent'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly in the conclusion. To improve, the student should focus on basic subject-verb agreement, correct use of articles, and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed without losing grammatical integrity.
