You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
People take the arts as a for granted field, they think that anyone can do the music, literature, acting, and art. consequently, the real talent do not get appreciation, while the untalented people receive fame and money in no time. I complete agree with this statement.
One major reason includes, it is very hard to find the real talent, as a lot of people have started engaging themselves in such activities like acting, painting, singing, and writing, even without proper training. As a result, individuals who are naturally talented or professionally trained in aforementioned fields do not get appreciation that they deserve. Moreover, due to increase in number of artists, it has become challenging to find the real art work. For instance, numerous songs are released on daily basis by singers with unpleasant voice, poor lyrics and bad choice of music.
Another reason is, people with no talent get chance to work and make money easily because of nepotism concept in some countries. However, the talented people with no personal links, struggle to find the right opportunities. In this way, talented artists get disappointed. For example, many talented actresses appear in movies once or twice, but actresses with a rich and famous backgrounds receive more projects to work.
In conclusion, in recent years, it has become easier task for untalented people to work in music, acting, and literature and earn money, while real talent is hard to identified due to saturation of artists. It is not good for a society as well as for artists in long terms because people like to experience good quality work, and real talent deserve to be valued.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt clearly, maintaining a consistent position throughout. The arguments regarding the saturation of the arts and the influence of nepotism are relevant and logically developed. However, the development is somewhat repetitive, and the examples provided, such as 'unpleasant voice' or 'actresses with rich backgrounds', are a bit generic. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more nuanced analysis or specific, real-world examples that demonstrate a deeper understanding of the cultural or economic implications of this trend. Overall, the task is fully addressed, and the position is well-supported.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used effectively to separate distinct ideas. You use cohesive devices such as 'consequently', 'moreover', and 'for instance' to link sentences. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. For example, the opening sentence 'People take the arts as a for granted field' is slightly awkward and impacts the initial coherence. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is precise would help elevate this score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'saturation', 'nepotism', and 'aforementioned'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'take the arts as a for granted field' (should be 'take the arts for granted') and 'real talent is hard to identified' (should be 'hard to identify'). While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the score. To improve, focus on more natural collocations and ensure that word forms are used correctly in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'the real talent do not get appreciation' (subject-verb agreement) and 'I complete agree' (should be 'completely'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor slips throughout. The majority of your sentences are understandable, but the frequency of these small errors prevents a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and adverb usage will significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
