Student answer (Band 5.0)
An attitude going on in some countries today that 'anyone can do it' in different fields as arts, literature etc. Although peope with no talent become wealthy and popular whereas talent is not valued i absolutly disagree with this statement.
One the first hand people with no talent could never succed to make their life comfortable with art-music, literature, acticng etc as compared to people with skills. They must have talent related to their profession but without talent its difficult. They will have to struggle just to earn with no skills. For example, if a person with no arts skills tries to go against a talented artist the results are clear the one with more experience and talent wins cause they have talent on this particular area whereas the one with on skills lacks.
On the other hand people with talent are valued differently. They make their lifestyle easier as compared to others. The knowledge they have is utilized by them to walk on a bright path without any outbreaks. With this they have a higher chance to become rich and famous as talent in this world is valued more then that of with none. For example, If two person one with talent and another with just basic skills try to get into a company the talented one has the greater option to get the job as compared to the one with no talent.
In conclusion, i disagree that people with no talent become rich and famous whereas talent is not appreciated. Without talent becoming rich in this modern age is very difficult one without talent should work hard to gain knowledge about it and move one.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that talent is undervalued. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments provided are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the example about 'two persons' applying for a job is generic and does not specifically relate to the arts, which is the core of the prompt. To improve, you should provide more concrete, nuanced examples of how the arts industry functions and why genuine talent remains essential. The conclusion restates your position but does not synthesize the arguments effectively, leaving the response feeling slightly underdeveloped in its reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'One the first hand' (should be 'On the one hand') and 'with this' are used to link ideas, but the logical flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed. The referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to track the argument's progression. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows from the previous one, rather than relying on repetitive structures.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'walk on a bright path without any outbreaks' and 'the one with on skills lacks'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to incorporate less common or idiomatic expressions effectively. To improve, focus on learning collocations related to the arts and professional success, and ensure you are using words in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include missing articles ('in different fields as arts'), subject-verb agreement errors ('two person'), and punctuation mistakes. While these errors do not completely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. You should focus on proofreading for basic errors such as pluralization and verb tense consistency. Additionally, try to incorporate more complex sentence structures, such as conditional or relative clauses, while ensuring they are grammatically accurate.
