Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few countries thinks that anyone can do better in
arts, music, literature, acting, art and many more.In the end people wirh zero talent becomes wealthy and highlighted. On the other hand, real talent is not valued and supported From my perspective, i am not agree.
In addition, i am not agree that, there could be anyone that can do better in arts-music,literature,acting,art and many more. They can not perform better untill they do not have some natural skills because these are by birth skills. furthermore, those who thinks thay have some knowledge in these skills thay can not perform like those natural .For some instances, those who have very effective skill in the arts-music by birth they have beautiful voice since there childhood and they perform excellent, while those who have learned these skills in the young age they will not perform better as compapred to those. On the other hand acting is the skill that can be learned in any age because it is not that difficult .It is just a piece of cake for some actors.
On the other hand, some people with zero talent becomes wealthy and famous because of their family support ,as one of their family member is from a pollitics they just support them in every field. Somehow, we can say that it is because of their luck as well.May be they are lucky so they can perform better in such fields. On the contrary, those who have some real talent ,they can not come to the stage because of some major issues like lack of confidence and money. There real talent is wasted and they can not be famous and rich.
In conclusion, real talent is not supported and valued.on the other hand, people with no talent are becoming popular and rich.Real talent should be supported in every field and we have to respect them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that 'anyone can do it' in the arts. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention natural talent versus learned skills and the influence of family/luck, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. The essay tends to repeat the same points about talent and wealth rather than exploring the complexity of the issue. To improve, ensure each paragraph introduces a distinct, fully supported point that directly relates to the prompt's core question about the valuation of genuine talent.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'On the other hand' is used three times, sometimes incorrectly). There are also issues with referencing and logical flow; for instance, the transition between the discussion of natural talent and the mention of acting as a 'piece of cake' is abrupt. The conclusion restates the position but does not effectively synthesise the arguments presented in the body paragraphs. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help the progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There is significant repetition of basic terms like 'talent', 'skills', 'rich', and 'famous'. Some phrasing is unnatural, such as 'people wirh zero talent becomes wealthy and highlighted' or 'from a pollitics'. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but the collocation is often inaccurate. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and idiomatic expressions, and pay closer attention to word forms and spelling (e.g., 'compapred', 'untill').
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Few countries thinks', 'people... becomes'), incorrect use of articles, and awkward phrasing ('i am not agree'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic sentence construction prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and consistent punctuation.
