You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
People believe that nowadays talent has lost it's true values and some are getting fame and wealth even if they are talentless resulting in lack of respect and appreciation to the individuals who are truly talented. I do believe that in today's world these creative mediums and genuine talent are valued less but there is still institutions, organization and people care for and deeply respect these arts.
Majorly in this era of technology, value of anything is based on how much popularity it has gained over the internet. For example, there has been numerous incidents where there are movies that are incredible with respect to artistic values and inspiration or actors that are extremely talented but are underdogs just because they were not able to get such attention on the internet or the social media on the other hand, there are people whose public relations team are able to market them to the audience resulting in higher fame and recognition. This results in talented people feel undervalued and helpless.
Secondly, another school of though is that regardless whatever happens in this world true talent finds it's way. let's take the example of Leonardo Devin chi where he was not able to find it's place in the time of his life but his work inspired generation to come after his passing. People may be able to take limelight for some time but music, arts and literature has no bounds.
In conclusion, I believe that values has truly shifted but respect and appreciation for talent can never be eliminated.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that while artistic values have shifted, genuine talent remains respected. The ideas are relevant, particularly the contrast between internet popularity and artistic merit. However, the development is somewhat limited. The example of Leonardo da Vinci is a strong point, but the essay could benefit from more detailed exploration of why 'anyone can do it' has become a prevalent attitude. The conclusion is a bit brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To reach a higher band, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more comprehensive analysis of the implications of the 'anyone can do it' trend.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Majorly', 'For example', and 'Secondly', though some transitions feel slightly mechanical or informal. The progression of ideas is generally clear, moving from the impact of social media to the endurance of true talent. However, referencing is occasionally imprecise, such as the use of 'it's' instead of 'its' and some awkward phrasing in the introduction. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the flow and coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their opinion clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'creative mediums', 'artistic values', and 'underdogs'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'Devin chi' (da Vinci) and 'it's' used incorrectly for the possessive 'its'. Additionally, 'Majorly' is not the most natural choice for starting a paragraph. To improve, focus on accurate spelling of proper nouns and refining collocations to sound more academic and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and possessive pronouns (e.g., 'talent has lost it's true values', 'there is still institutions'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and missing commas. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the message, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall accuracy. Increasing the number of error-free sentences and proofreading for basic grammatical slips would significantly improve the score.
