Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this essay we write about an attitude that 'anyone can do it' in the arts - music, literature, acting, art, etc in some countries. As a result, people with no talent become rich and famous and genuine talent is not valued or appreciated.
Art is such a easy and beautiful literature subject and easy to understand. people can do alot. Forexample, my mother have done arts degree in bechalors. Now she is a good housewife as well as a good artist. she decorates our home in a good way. Music, literature, art and acting are such things that everyone can do and earn a lot. we just confidence how to do these all. we can't say that these person can;t earn bit in fact some other says that these have not talented but earn a lot and beome rich.Forexample, my sister choose acting for her career but my father said to her you wouldnot do this beacuse acoording him its nothing. Like that other people also thik that these people haven;t any talent but they beame rich and famous. furthermore, today in some countries genuine talent is not valued and appreciated. people only think that a person who doing hardwork, or job of duty hours about eight to ten a day having talented and should earn a lot.
In conclusion, people think students or jobian having study arts are fortunate , they do nothing but earn a handful amount. other having talents are unfortunate, do alot find nothing., people with no talent become rich and famous and genuine talent is not valued or appreciated.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt but lacks a clear, consistent position. While you mention that some people believe 'anyone can do it,' you do not clearly state whether you agree or disagree with the premise that genuine talent is undervalued. The ideas are largely anecdotal (e.g., your mother and sister) rather than analytical, which limits the development of the argument. The conclusion merely repeats the prompt rather than synthesising your points. To improve, ensure you take a firm stance in the introduction and provide logical, well-developed reasons that directly support your position throughout the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes repetitive (e.g., 'Forexample' used twice). Some sentences are disjointed, making it difficult to follow the flow of your argument. For instance, the jump from discussing your mother to your sister and then to general societal views lacks a clear linking structure. Using a wider range of linking words such as 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' or 'in contrast' would help improve the flow and clarity of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, relying on simple words like 'good,' 'easy,' and 'do.' There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'jobian' and 'handful amount,' which are not standard English. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas about the arts or societal values. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to the arts and professional success, and try to use more precise adjectives and verbs to convey your meaning more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement ('my mother have done,' 'people... having talented'), missing articles, and incorrect punctuation. Sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors that can cause confusion for the reader. For example, 'we just confidence how to do these all' is grammatically incorrect and unclear. You need to focus on basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses and subject-verb agreement, before attempting more complex structures.
