Student answer (Band 5.5)

There is a attitude of people in some countries that anybody can perform in the activities arts, music, literature and acting which results persons are becoming rich and more famous who do not have any skills comparatively to people who carry a actual talent due to that real talent is not recognized. I agree with the statement actual skills of art is not appreciated as much as it is required it must be highlight.

Increasing number of people who believe anyone can do acting literature and music causing lack of visibility to people having great skills in this area are behind the unwanted content creator. For example, various people are available on social media without any good skills becoming popular and earning great money with the help unnecessary data creation and becoming famous. Moreover, these people are famous face in between the public and real talent did not get a chance to appear.

Furthermore, people are creating unwanted content to become famous and causing a bad impact on the society and specially on young generation. Nowadays, younger people are more active on various social media platform and they are becoming influenced these people which can put a bad impact on their mind. For instance, mostly young generation 12 to 20 years are admiring these kind of content creator which is useless and increasing view making them more popular without good skills and put a bad impact on the society.

In conclusion, some steps need to taken by the society and country to keep real talented people alive on the earth to secure our heritage values related with art, music and literature. Otherwise one day this actual skills will disappears from the some nations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that genuine talent is undervalued. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive. While you mention social media influencers as an example, the argument lacks depth regarding the broader implications for art, literature, or music as requested. The points made about 'younger people' are relevant but could be better linked to the core issue of artistic merit. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, ensure each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-supported point rather than restating the same concern about influencers.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, 'due to that' and 'in between the public' are used incorrectly, which disrupts the flow of ideas. The transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is weak, and the logical progression within paragraphs is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') more naturally and ensure that referencing (e.g., 'these people') clearly points to the intended antecedent.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'good', 'bad', and 'famous'. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'unwanted content creator', 'actual skills of art', and 'unnecessary data creation'. These errors occasionally make the meaning slightly unclear. To improve, you should aim to use more precise academic vocabulary and collocations related to the arts and social trends. Expanding your range of synonyms and learning how to use them in context will significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the readability of the text. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'there is a attitude'), article usage (e.g., 'the activities arts'), and sentence structure (e.g., 'which results persons are becoming'). Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, and the misuse of prepositions is common. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb-object patterns, and proofread carefully for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb forms.
