Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the required word count of 250 words, reaching only 119 words. Because the essay is incomplete and stops mid-sentence, it fails to develop any arguments or provide relevant evidence. The position is stated in the introduction, but the lack of development means the task is only addressed in a very minimal way. To improve, you must ensure you write at least 250 words and provide fully developed paragraphs with clear examples to support your viewpoint.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear structure due to its incomplete nature. While there is an attempt at an introduction, the second paragraph is cut off abruptly, preventing any logical progression of ideas. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link sentences or ideas effectively. To improve, you should plan your essay structure before writing, ensuring you have a clear introduction, body paragraphs with topic sentences, and a conclusion, using linking words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'however' to connect your thoughts.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. There are several errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'In today contemporary world' (redundant) and 'a substantial amount of people attracted in this fields' (grammatically incorrect). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas clearly. To improve, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—and try to use a wider variety of topic-specific vocabulary related to the arts and societal trends.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The text contains frequent grammatical errors that hinder clarity. Examples include 'the field of arts become most popular' (incorrect verb tense/article usage) and 'We are living in such a days' (incorrect pluralization). There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the existing sentences are often poorly constructed. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles. Once you have mastered these, practice using complex structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences.
