Student answer (Band 5.0)

In most of the countries there is an attitude that 'anyone can do it' in the fields of the arts, music, literature, acting, art etc .As a result the people with the no talent become rich and also very famous and also the suggestion is occured that the people with the genuine talent is not valued and also not appreciated.

Firstly i discuss about the people that has a no talent . As you know that the movement is also the key to success and Allah Almighty has distribute the different level of the talent in every human being so when the person is not identify their ability of work the society known that person as a no talent person. For example, A social media influncer that i nowadays a star but in the past years they have not any resources of talent. At now they take a step for success .

Secondly i tell you about the genuine talent that is not valued or not appreciated . the real talented peoples having a different level of the ability to think and also different level of the ability to live their life, but the key factor is that if a person is real talented but he or she didnot take any step towards their success , he or she will not famous or rich . For example the establisher of pakistan country named as the Muhammad Ali Jinnah. this person haing a talent to stand against the british and hindus so he take a step and establish a nwe homeland ,

In conclusion i agreed that the person that is less talented but they achieve to the next level of famous and be a more rich from the talented peoples . But the Talented people have a unique resource of their living a dream life by taking a step.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt, but the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. While you state your position, the arguments regarding 'talent' and 'success' are somewhat disjointed and lack logical depth. For instance, the example of Muhammad Ali Jinnah is not clearly linked to the arts, which makes the argument less relevant to the specific topic. The ideas are repetitive, and the connection between 'taking a step' and artistic success is not fully explored. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a clear, distinct point that directly supports your stance on the arts, and provide more relevant, focused examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay uses basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion', which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is often mechanical and sometimes confusing. The transition between sentences is frequently abrupt, and the use of referencing is weak, making it difficult to track the subject matter. Paragraphing is present, but the internal logic within the paragraphs is inconsistent. To improve, try to use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each sentence flows naturally from the previous one, rather than relying on repetitive structures.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'talent', 'success', and 'person'. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'the suggestion is occured' and 'the establisher of pakistan country'. The word choice is often imprecise, which hinders the clarity of your arguments. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a broader range of vocabulary related to the arts and professional achievement, and focus on using words in their correct collocations. Avoid repeating the same phrases throughout the essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with articles ('the no talent'), subject-verb agreement ('the people... is not valued'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, which impacts readability. While you attempt some complex ideas, the lack of control over basic grammar makes these structures difficult to follow. To improve, focus on mastering simple sentence structures first, ensuring correct subject-verb agreement and article usage. Proofreading for common errors like missing verbs or incorrect word forms will significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
