Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is undeniable that, increase in illegal activities for enjoying better and rich life become a pensive concern in this modern world. In this regards, in some countries today, there is an attitude that anyone can do it in the arts, music, literature, acting, art, etc. As a result, people with no talent become rich and famous and genuine talent is not valued or appreciated. I believe that authentic talent continues to be highly valued and appreciated by society explain in forthcoming fragments with as logical conclusion.
To commence with, the belief that anyone can pursue a career in the arts does not inherently diminish the importance of natural talent. Rather, it promotes the idea that with sufficient dedication and training, individuals can improve and contribute to creative fields. This inclusively does not suggest that all artists are equally talented, but simply that opportunity should not be exclusive to the gifted few. In fact, those with innate ability still retain a competitive advantage, as their work often resonates more deeply and demonstrates a higher level of technical or emotional sophistication. The success of naturally talented individuals is still widely recognized, not only through critical acclaim but also through the long-lasting impact of their work.
Throughout history, society has consistently celebrated individuals whose artistic genius is rooted in natural talent. To explain it, some iconic figures are admired not only for their dedication but for their exceptional innate abilities. This appreciation continues in the modern era, where prodigious talents in music, literature, or visual arts are often elevated and respected globally. Moreover, competitions, scholarships, and specialized institutions still prioritize talent as a criterion for recognition. This demonstrates that while the artistic world may be more accessible, the value of true talent remains intact and is far from being dismissed.
To conclude, there are several reasons that anyone cannot do music, literature because it requires both literary as well as professional talent yet according to me the success of naturally talented individuals is still widely recognized, not only through critical acclaim but also through the long-lasting impact of their work and genuine talent ought to be valued or appreciated.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed the prompt and maintained a clear position throughout the essay. You argue that while the arts have become more accessible, genuine talent remains highly valued. The ideas are relevant and generally well-developed, particularly in the second and third paragraphs. However, the introduction contains a significant irrelevance; the opening sentence mentions 'illegal activities,' which is completely unrelated to the topic of arts and talent. This creates a confusing start. To improve, ensure your introduction directly introduces the specific topic provided in the prompt without introducing extraneous or contradictory themes.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To commence with,' 'In fact,' and 'Moreover' to link your ideas. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'explain in forthcoming fragments with as logical conclusion.' Additionally, the final paragraph repeats phrases from the body paragraphs almost verbatim, which reduces the flow and impact of your conclusion. Improving the variety of your cohesive devices and ensuring that the conclusion synthesizes rather than just repeats your points would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'prodigious,' 'sophistication,' and 'critical acclaim.' However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and awkward phrasing, such as 'pensive concern' (which does not fit the context of the arts) and 'This inclusively does not suggest.' The vocabulary is generally sufficient to convey your meaning, but it lacks the precision and natural collocation required for a higher band score. Focusing on learning word families and common collocations in the context of academic writing will help you achieve more sophisticated expression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While many sentences are clear, there are several grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. For example, 'In this regards' should be 'In this regard,' and 'there are several reasons that anyone cannot do music' is syntactically awkward. There are also issues with article usage and subject-verb agreement. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your argument, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of complex sentence construction to reach a higher band.
