Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is undeniable that it have significant impact on society. In this regards, nowadays, some people belive that anyone can become successful in the art, such as music, literature, acting and art etc. As a result, some people become rich and famous without any talent. This essay will be outlined my opinion in forthcoming paragraphs with logical conclusion.

To commence with, there are several reasons of this statement. The prime one is social media. It assist people to become popular. To explain it, many individuals post their reels on YouTube, Instagram and Tik-Tok. Some post funny videos and make attract people. for example Vijay Sharma often post funny videos while living in a small village and he does not have good camera for creates videos but he became famous . The another one is that Popularity brings money. To justify it, Popularity is more important than skill. Millions of followers can lead to sponsorships, advertisements and business opportunities. To an apitome it , Sonu sitowala become famous because he usually post funny vidos. Now he get a chance to work in the music industary.

Nonetheless, I believe that real talent is still highly valued in many areas of the arts. To elaborate it, who work hard and for a long period of time can build a long-term career. For instance, a talented singer who work hard for his voice and ability to sing in front of people must become famous . on the other hand , who attract people with his funny videos or another type can attract people and become famous but not for a long time of periods because they do not did hard work. They will lose public attention rapidly.

In conclusion, although modern technology has made is easy for people to become famous. I partially disagree with this notion because popularity can bring short-term success but hard-work can build a long-term career.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the 'anyone can do it' attitude in the arts. You clearly state a position, arguing that while technology allows for short-term fame, genuine talent remains important for long-term success. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide examples like 'Vijay Sharma' and 'Sonu sitowala', the analysis of how these relate to the broader societal impact is a bit superficial. To improve, ensure you explore the implications of your arguments more deeply rather than just listing examples. The conclusion is clear, but the introduction is slightly vague, as it does not explicitly state your position on the prompt's specific claim.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'To commence with', 'Nonetheless', and 'In conclusion', to guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'To an apitome it'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear; for instance, the phrase 'It have significant impact' in the introduction lacks a clear antecedent. The flow between sentences is generally logical, but the transition between the discussion of social media and the argument about long-term talent could be smoother to improve the overall progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You use common terms like 'famous', 'funny', and 'hard work' repeatedly. There are also several word-choice and collocation errors, such as 'does not have good camera for creates videos' and 'music industary'. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the range is limited, and some expressions are non-standard. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and ensuring that your word choices are contextually appropriate and grammatically correct.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You frequently make errors with subject-verb agreement, such as 'It have significant impact', 'some people belive', and 'a talented singer who work hard'. There are also issues with article usage and verb tense, such as 'they do not did hard work'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, pay closer attention to basic grammatical rules, particularly verb forms and pluralisation, and try to incorporate more complex structures with greater precision.
