Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is a common conception about the capablity of human being that everyone can do everything in all aspects of life irrespect of their talent. Some believe that, hardworking and deligence can overcome the deficiency of instinct knowlege in the field of music, literature, acting, art, etc. Others think that talent with proper nurture can be worked as a stair to become wealthy and renowned. I strongly believe the later opinion in this case.
Perseverence is one of the most crucial things to achieve success in life, as it can convert your hard works and efforts to a positive and tangible result. There are many examples of perseverence such as robert bruce in regaining his lost kingdom and jack maa in enterprenuering his own business. So there is no doubt that to become revered, one has to give sheer dedication. Moreover by practising you can stem your own potentiality which will pave the road of success.
Another thing, Raw talents without proper nurturing may go in vain as there are many competetors who are trying their best to reach the goal with proper dedication. Sometimes it becomes difficult for the raw talent to differntiate from others strieves with deligence. For instance a man with genuine talent in mathematics without proper exercise may not be able to solve the instant and life oriented problem. Besides, practising with little talents can make briliant results provided that he is consistent and punctual.
In conclusion, combination of talents and hardwork is pivotal to gain outsatnding outcomes in every sector of life. Because this blend can provide the recquired spices and ingredients to complete and to fulfil the goal. So it is undeniable that without persevernce and hardwork talent cannot be enlighten.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, though the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. You argue that hard work and perseverance are essential, which is relevant, but the connection to the specific prompt—the idea that 'anyone can do it' in the arts—is slightly tangential. You focus more on the general value of hard work rather than specifically addressing whether the arts are being devalued by those without talent. To improve, ensure your examples directly relate to the 'arts' context mentioned in the prompt, rather than general business or historical figures like Robert Bruce or Jack Ma, which are less relevant to the specific debate about artistic merit.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central theme. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'For instance', and 'In conclusion' to link ideas. However, the progression between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally unclear. For example, the transition between the second and third paragraphs could be smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the flow of ideas would benefit from more sophisticated linking words and a more cohesive transition between your personal opinion and the broader societal issue presented in the prompt.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors and some issues with word choice. Examples include 'capablity' (capability), 'deligence' (diligence), 'enterprenuering' (entrepreneurial), 'competetors' (competitors), and 'briliant' (brilliant). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using less common lexical items more accurately and ensuring correct spelling of academic vocabulary. The phrase 'stem your own potentiality' is also an awkward collocation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'talent with proper nurture can be worked as a stair' (passive voice misuse), 'the later opinion' (should be 'latter'), and 'without persevernce and hardwork talent cannot be enlighten' (incorrect verb form). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing after commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors suggests a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of complex sentence construction and verb tenses.
