Student answer (Band 5.5)
In todays era, some countries theres an negative attitude which states that anyone can do it such as music, literature , acting, arts and as a result, people with no skills become more rich and popular and people with more skills are not valued well in our society. to a large extent, i strongly agree with this notion. and we will discuss the further in the essay.
First of all, i believe that todays fancy world people easily get viral through different social media platforms which leads them to earn money and also become more famous. Moreover i have seen many influencers with no talents gets more value while, people with having skills struggles to find a job. for instance, many companies values people who are famous on social media because it helps them to promote their products in sales.
On the other hand, the skilled people like engineers, doctors etc. where it takes their half of their lives to complete their studies and still they don’t get the opportunity as compared to influencers that are active on social media for example, influencers don't require any degree. even though i saw ,many famous children are many more money from Youtube, Instagram and Tiktok as compared to educated people.
In conclusion, Vast technology may have limited the talent of skilled people. in many fields AI (artificial intelligence) and robots are taking over many jobs especially skilled sectors. which has also put many people job's and talent at risk. Talent should valued and people become more productive.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt, but the development of ideas is limited. While you clearly state your agreement, the arguments remain somewhat superficial. For instance, you mention social media influencers and the impact of AI, but these points are not fully connected to the core issue of 'talent in the arts.' The essay tends to conflate general fame with artistic talent. To improve, you should focus more on the specific domain of the arts mentioned in the prompt and provide more nuanced examples of how the 'anyone can do it' attitude specifically undermines genuine artistic merit rather than just discussing general economic success.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'First of all,' 'Moreover,' 'On the other hand'). There are also issues with sentence-level cohesion, such as the abrupt transition in the conclusion where you shift to discussing AI and robots, which feels disconnected from the previous paragraphs. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph flows logically from the previous one, maintaining a clear focus on the prompt throughout.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic descriptors like 'fancy world,' 'more rich,' and 'more famous.' There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'many famous children are many more money.' To improve, you should aim to use more sophisticated vocabulary related to the arts and societal trends. Instead of repeating 'more,' try using comparative structures or more descriptive adjectives that convey the intensity of your argument without relying on simple intensifiers.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'influencers with no talents gets'), punctuation errors (e.g., 'literature , acting'), and sentence fragments. The sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when attempting complexity. For example, 'In todays era, some countries theres an negative attitude' contains multiple errors in a single clause. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct subject-verb agreement, and proofreading for punctuation. Increasing your control over complex sentence structures will also help improve your score in this criterion.
