You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

I strongly agree that the many people with no talent become rich and famous in arts. while true skilled and hardworking artists are often forgotten or ignored by people. One of main reason is the social platforms like instagram, TikTok, YouTube Etc, where anyone can upload videos, photos and songs which reach the million of views within hours and also get fame in million . This platforms do not check the quality of work or skills , they just rewards by what are loving to watch like funny acts, entertaining. For instance; Some young singers become worldwide star because of there songs has repeating for making videos, even if they cannot sing properly or write their own song. But the one who is musician or artist's doing so much hardworking , struggling and practicing for a years to find an audience to watch their work but did not consider the viral or trend. This situation is very unfair for people who are practicing for a long time and also send a very wrong message for young people : that frame do not need any practice or hard work.

As the result, True artistic excellence is no longer properly apperciated by the public and society starts to confuse the popularity with quality work of people. Overall, Public will reinforce only hardworking peoples.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development is limited. While you identify social media as a key factor, the arguments remain somewhat superficial and lack specific, well-developed examples. The response is also significantly under the 250-word minimum, which prevents a full exploration of the topic and results in a negative impact on the overall score. To improve, you should expand your points with more detailed explanations and ensure you meet the length requirement to allow for a more comprehensive discussion of the issues raised.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay has a basic structure with an introduction and a concluding thought, but the paragraphing is insufficient; the entire body of the argument is compressed into one paragraph. While there is a logical flow, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and limited (e.g., 'As the result'). The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between ideas could be smoother. To reach a higher band, you should use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph focuses on a distinct central idea to improve the overall progression of your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good' or 'bad' (implied) and struggle with word forms, such as 'frame' instead of 'fame' and 'apperciated' (spelling error). There is also some awkward phrasing, such as 'rewards by what are loving to watch'. To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and collocations, and pay closer attention to spelling and word choice to ensure your meaning is conveyed accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('One of main reason is', 'there songs has repeating') and article usage errors ('the million of views'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of semicolons and commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors limits the score. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and practice using more complex sentence structures with greater control.
