Student answer (Band 6.0)
In many countries the real talent is suffering for validation where as people with no real skills are believed to be capable of doing well in arts, music and in other domains of literature. In my opinion, this is true to some extent as unfortunatly, public has made less skilled people famous and rich and hardworking people are still seeking for validation.
The ideology that talent performs on pavements and luck reigns in palaces is true to some extent as we witness people with real skills and efforts are often not appreciated or accepted too quickly in their lives. Even the people who were an epitome of creativity and skill such as Leonardo Da Vince and Van Gogh had to suffer from the curse of social rejection. They spent their whole life to seek public validation and poverty but only got their art work appreciated after their dismissal from this world. Moreover, if we flip the pages of history the world can witness numerous examples of people who deserved fame because of their extraordinary and rigorous efforts but the public failed to understand the depth and complexities of their work and made them only famous when they were dead. Hardwork and resiliance produce the finest of the work but it is the public that often fails to appreciate it on right time.
Contrary to this irony of the world, we get to see numerous examples of people who gained fame overnight just by providing easy entertainment to public. Such people put up an online tablow using platforms such as Youtube and Instagram and create unnecessary controversies to gain public attention. Owing to such platforms and viewers choice wrong people are getting fame and money where the right ones are still suffering. Public is falling a prey to easy entertainment that requires zero to no effort and endorsing such content creators. Nepotism is also another factor, as people with contacts and links are able to display their work to public much more comfortably as compared to someone who has no prior links.
Consequently, it is quite a fact that un-skilled people are benefiiting from the world and talent is suffering on streets. The solution of this problem resides with fixation of public behaviour as people should discourage endorsing social media influencers and Tiktok stars and must reside their interests in the work of real hardwork.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, maintaining a clear position throughout. You effectively argue that the 'anyone can do it' attitude leads to the neglect of genuine talent, supporting this with historical examples like Van Gogh and contemporary issues like social media influencers and nepotism. The ideas are well-developed and relevant. To reach a higher band, ensure that your examples are integrated more smoothly into the argument rather than just listed. For instance, the transition between historical figures and modern influencers could be more nuanced to strengthen the overall argument regarding the shift in public perception.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear progression of ideas. Each paragraph has a central theme, and you use cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Contrary to this', and 'Consequently' to link your points. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the phrasing 'fixation of public behaviour'. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved by varying the sentence structure to avoid repetitive patterns. Overall, the logical flow is clear and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your ideas clearly. Phrases like 'epitome of creativity', 'rigorous efforts', and 'falling a prey' show an attempt to use more sophisticated language. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'seeking for validation' (should be 'seeking validation'), 'right time' (should be 'the right time'), and 'reside their interests' (which is non-standard). While these errors do not impede communication, they prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on natural collocations will help improve your precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is appropriate for this task. There are several grammatical errors, including missing articles ('the public', 'the right time'), subject-verb agreement issues ('public has made'), and awkward phrasing ('Leonardo Da Vince' should be 'Da Vinci'). While these errors are noticeable, they rarely impede the reader's understanding. To improve, pay closer attention to article usage and ensure that complex sentences are constructed with greater precision. The majority of your sentences are clear, but more consistent control over grammar would elevate the score.
