Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, in few regions have a behaviour that 'anyone can do it' in the several artistic fields like music, literature, acting, art, etc. This can lead thatc untalented people are become celebrity with wealth and the real talent is often ignored.

This is the harsh reality and the hotest topic nowadays. I completely agree with this point with some evidence base points that will be discussed.

The main point is that this is the era of social media than the Individuals who appear on it make a great number of value. it had not be seen that they have some kind of artistic move or not. The people on the social media mostly like the enternainment not the talent. For example, a couple of persons grab the attention by makng the silly type of contecton social media like Tiktok, Instagram and Snapchat. Also agencies promot that type of persons who make money for them. Therefore, extraordinary artist is not see by the users.

Furthermore, music and acting take time to represent their presence. They have to upload their content for years. Moreover , literature have to require a massive amount of books to pulish. Population takes time to know the presence of these kind of talented diamonds in the market. To be continue, real talented persons have to do huge struggle for their reprenentation in the society.

In the conclusion, I fully appreciate that kind of talented person who takes time and make their name by real art. As far as i concerned that individuals should focus on the real struggled person not on those who only man the society polluted.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by clearly taking a stand that genuine talent is being overshadowed by untalented individuals due to social media. The writer attempts to support this position with examples, such as people gaining fame on platforms like TikTok and Instagram through silly content, while true artists struggle. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, with sweeping generalisations and a lack of depth in the supporting arguments. The conclusion restates the opinion, though it uses non-standard phrasing like 'man the society polluted.' Because all parts of the prompt are addressed and a clear position is maintained throughout, this performance aligns well with Band 6.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an overall attempt at organisation. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions, sentence fragments, and poor cohesion (e.g., starting paragraphs with 'To be continue' or 'In the conclusion, I fully appreciate'). Reference words are sometimes ambiguous or incorrect, and paragraphing lacks precise control. While the overarching theme of the essay holds together, the mechanical and faulty cohesive devices limit the flow. This fits the description for Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with numerous word-choice errors and awkward collocations (e.g., 'have a behaviour', 'thatc untalented people are become celebrity', 'hotest topic', 'silly type of contecton', 'struggled person'). The writer attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'extraordinary artist' and 'massive amount', but control is weak and errors frequently emerge. While communication is still generally achieved despite these lexical limitations, the frequent spelling and formation errors restrict the score to Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but grammatical accuracy is very low. Frequent errors in tense, article usage, word order, and sentence boundaries impede readability in several places (e.g., 'Nowadays, in few regions have a behaviour...', 'it had not be seen that...', 'moreover , literature have to require...'). Simple sentences are often structurally flawed, and attempts at complex structures typically result in non-standard phrasing or fragmented clauses. Punctuation is also erratic. These persistent, dense errors place the grammar evaluation firmly at Band 4.5.
