Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued by some people that there is a trend to do art, music, literature, acting, art etc. The reason is that people without talent become famous and rich and talented people are not valued. In my opinion, I am totaly agreed with this argument not only because of social media, lack of education, but also because of public supports them.
There are multiple reasons associated with the topic. Firstly, social media is the main reason behind this issue. As social media gives fame to some one that motivate to others to leave study and just try to famous on social media. Take an example of Nepal, it is expected that by the year of 2028, all the young youth of Nepal will be uneducated and just try to get fame from social media. Thus, point proven this development have drawbacks to our society.
Secondly, lack of education among people that can motivate these people to do more. As audience can give support to these content creators and inspire them more. As this can impact on children negatively, and they want to become influancer in the age of study. For instance, a survey shows that 25% talanted people are unemployed because of lack of education among audiance. Hence, this point also proves that this impacts nagetively on our young youth.
To sum up, I believe that not only because of social media, but also because of lack of education I totally agreed that non talaented people become rich but genius people are not valued.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the task by taking a clear, although oversimplified, position ('I am totaly agreed with this argument'). The main ideas center around social media and a lack of education as causes for unqualified people gaining fame. However, the development of these ideas is limited and relies heavily on vague generalisations rather than fully articulated arguments. For instance, the reference to Nepal and the unsourced statistic about unemployed talented people ('a survey shows that 25% talanted people are unemployed') are underdeveloped and lack persuasive depth. While all parts of the prompt are touched upon, the arguments remain somewhat superficial, placing this response at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The response is organized into four paragraphs, providing a basic structural framework. However, the overall progression is disrupted by mechanical and sometimes confusing cohesive devices. While transitional phrases such as 'Firstly' and 'Secondly' are used, they are frequently followed by fragmented or grammatically flawed sentence structures that obscure the logical flow ('As social media gives fame to some one that motivate to others...'). Paragraphing is attempted, but the grouping of ideas lacks smooth transitions. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly with the overuse of the word 'As' to start clauses. This level of cohesion and organization aligns with Band 5.0 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple terms such as 'fame', 'rich', 'talented', and 'education'. There are noticeable lexical errors and inappropriate word choices throughout the text, including 'totaly agreed', 'talanted', 'nagetively', and 'influncer'. Furthermore, collocation is weak in phrases like 'public supports them' and 'try to famous'. The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a basic meaning, but frequent spelling and word-choice errors cause some difficulty for the reader, which fits the Band 5.0 profile.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but attempts at complex forms are frequently faulty. There are persistent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as missing subjects, incorrect verb forms ('people with no talent become rich and famous' is lifted from the prompt, but student creations like 'try to get fame' and 'public supports them' show instability), and poor clause integration (e.g., starting sentences with 'As' followed by a verb). Punctuation is generally rudimentary. These frequent errors cause strain for the reader, placing the grammar performance firmly at Band 5.0.
