Student answer (Band 5.5)
The populcae of few countries pose that everyone can do anything in context of performing arts and literature. Due to this perception of people many among them start participating in these activities without any skill and knowledge. I completely agree with the point as this really leads to the promotion of poor art.
In some regions, specially in modern east and the regions where people are earning more than the underdeveloped and developing countries, they think that if they have the finances in their pcokets they can attain anything wether its skilled work or the art. The advancement of technology has also made them enable doing these activites conveniently, for example auto tuning has made singing easy rather than practicing for long hours as the artist used to do in earlier days.
Moreover, the widespread use of social media and ease in access due to internet has make it more effortless to gain the reach of the audience. Just put your piece of art on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the art is seen through millions of eyes. Some of whome appreciating and liking them withut knowing the real art and the efforts of elderly artists in the field.
Though, the transformation of art and music indusry has supported the artists to grow out on large canvases but at the same time people with no talent and without appropriate knowledge through leraning got the increasing chance to perform arts, and allude them as artists. This causes into lack of appreciation of real art and the place of real talent is getting narrower.
In conclusion, in many places people show the idea of mastering any field including arts and literatue is for everybody, due to which real talent is getting scarced and the original talent is not gaining the same place as the people with zero skill at all.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing the prompt regarding the 'anyone can do it' attitude in the arts and explicitly states a clear position of agreement. The ideas are relevant and supported by examples such as auto-tuning technology and the use of social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. However, some arguments lack deeper extension and development, tending to generalize the impact of technology rather than exploring its nuances. The position is maintained throughout the essay and concludes appropriately. For these reasons, the response meets the criteria for Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used to separate distinct ideas, such as technological impacts in the second paragraph and social media influence in the third. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical, with awkward transitions like 'Though, the transformation...' and referencing issues such as 'Some of whome appreciating and liking them'. While logical progression is generally maintained, the mechanical nature of the cohesive devices and occasional referencing errors place this response at a Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student attempts less common vocabulary such as 'populcae', 'perception', 'advancement', and 'widespread'. However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including 'populcae' (populace), 'pcokets' (pockets), 'wether' (whether), 'enable doing' (able to do), 'indusry' (industry), 'leraning' (learning), 'allude them' (refer to them), and 'scarced' (scarce). Although these errors do not completely impede communication, their frequency prevents the vocabulary from reaching Band 6.0 fully, though it sits comfortably at a Band 5.0 due to adequate task coverage despite noticeable inaccuracies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as article omissions ('in context of performing arts'), preposition errors ('pose that everyone can do anything in context of'), and faulty dependent clauses ('has made them enable doing these activites'). Punctuation errors and fragments also appear, such as starting a sentence with 'Though, the transformation...'. While communication is rarely completely impeded, the high density of grammatical and mechanical errors prevents the score from rising above Band 5.0.
