Student answer (Band 5.0)
A much debated issue these days, In some places present issue that there is an attitude that anyone can do it in the arts - music , literature , acting , art stuffs etc. As a final , a general group with no talent become wealthy and get attention of everyone accept general talent is not appreciated . I totally disagree with this statement, everyone should achieve more if they know their potential.
Firstly, If any individual work hard for their dream and trying if they fail it is maximise their chances to be famous. Moreover it takes time but if they have a passion and work hard they will be become someone who has been famous by their hard work. for instance, like if someone has no talent and other one has talent most of the people choose the talent and hard workers.
Secondly , my point is talent will never be beaten become so much fantastic in your passion like people has no option why they don't choose you and people become what they want to become.
In my perspective, I highly disagree with the point talent never be beaten. people highly recommend talented groups.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding whether anyone can succeed in the arts and whether genuine talent is unvalued, stating a clear disagreement. However, the ideas are severely limited and under-developed, consisting of repetitive assertions rather than detailed arguments or relevant examples. Furthermore, the length requirement is not met; the essay contains only 197 words, which is 53 words short of the 250-word minimum. This significant shortfall in length heavily restricts the level of task completion and prevents the proper extension of ideas. According to the band descriptors, addressing the task only partially and presenting under-developed ideas corresponds to a Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the overall organization and logical progression are weak. While transitional markers such as 'Firstly,' 'Moreover,' and 'Secondly' are attempted, they are used mechanically and often fail to connect ideas logically. For example, the transition into the second paragraph ('If any individual work hard...') introduces grammatical confusion that disrupts the flow of argument. Referencing and pronoun use are frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is inadequate. These features align closely with the characteristics of a Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, featuring phrases like 'work hard', 'famous', and 'talent' multiple times throughout the short text. There are noticeable lexical errors and awkward word choices, such as 'art stuffs', 'accept general talent', and 'be become someone'. The range of vocabulary is limited and minimally adequate for conveying very simple meanings, but it causes strain and confusion for the reader in places. There is little evidence of less common lexical items being used accurately. This performance fits the Band 5.0 descriptor, where vocabulary is limited and errors cause some difficulty.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The grammatical range is extremely limited, relying heavily on simple or poorly constructed complex sentences that are frequently faulty. Examples of grammatical errors include subject-verb agreement issues ('people has no option', 'individual work hard'), tense errors ('trying if they fail it is maximise'), and awkward phrasing ('talent will never be beaten become so much fantastic'). Punctuation is also erratic. While some simple structures are accurate, attempts at more complex structures lead to frequent errors that impede understanding. This profile matches the Band 5.0 descriptor for grammatical range and accuracy.
