Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is often argued that in several nation nowadays, there is an attitude that 'anyone can do it' in the arts - music, literature, acting, art etc. As a result, individuals with no talent become financially stable and well known and hidden talent is not valued or aappreciated.while, there is soome justification for this viewpoint. I partially agree with it because practise makes man perfect However many people know this type of activities sp most of the people who well known in it they not valued.

There are compelling reasons to support the argument that anyone can do it. The most significant reason of these is that everyone can do anything by practise. This is largely attributale to the fact that because everyday practise makes mistakes then improve it. A particualr relevant example of this can be seen that a man who learns art from today then he will make mistake in future after that improve mistake . Moreover learn many things from that mistakes. Therefore it is possible to learn skills and do perfect in that skills . This demonstrates that anyone can do it.

Neverthless, I would argue that the above perspective which overlooks the fact that genuine talent is not appreciated. The most important consideration is that when new individuals do better in that field then older one will eliminate day by day . For instance, as talk about in music industury many singers made best songs that older ones and many individuals attracting from new ones so thats the reason . As a result genuine individuals is not appreciated.

In conclusions, these activities can do by anyone by do practise in that field. Whereas genuine talent is not valued because of new learners can o better . A balanced approach that incorporates the advantages of both perspective would therefore be the most effective solution.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt regarding whether anyone can succeed in the arts and whether genuine talent is undervalued, taking a partial agreement stance. However, the development of ideas remains quite limited and repetitive. For example, the student argues that 'everyone can do anything by practise,' but this point is underdeveloped and lacks sophisticated real-world examples. Phrases such as 'a man who learns art from today then he will make mistake in future' are too vague to fully support the argument. Although the position is stated in the introduction, the supporting paragraphs lack depth and elaboration, which places this performance at Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a logical structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, overall progression is hindered by poor transitions and mechanical cohesive devices like 'Neverthless' and 'In conclusions'. Referencing is frequently unclear, such as in the sentence 'many people know this type of activities sp most of the people who well known in it they not valued.' Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is flawed and repetitive, making the text disjointed in places. This corresponds to a Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently impeded by numerous spelling and word-choice errors. Examples of inaccurate lexical choices and spelling mistakes include 'nation' instead of nations, 'apprecriated', 'attributale', 'particualr', and 'industury'. The student attempts some less common vocabulary items such as 'financially stable' and 'genuine talent', but these are overshadowed by frequent errors that cause strain for the reader. The lexical range is limited and minimally adequate for the task, which aligns with the Band 5.0 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

Grammatically, the essay exhibits a very limited range of structures with frequent, heavy errors. Simple sentences are often poorly constructed, and attempts at complex sentences are consistently faulty, such as in 'whereas genuine talent is not valued because of new learners can o better.' Punctuation and article usage are frequently incorrect, and basic subject-verb agreement or tense errors appear in almost every sentence. Because these errors occur with high frequency and occasionally obscure meaning, the writing falls securely into Band 4.0 for grammatical range and accuracy.
